The last couple of weeks my air filter light on my dash comes on when I first start my car after it's been sitting for 6 or more hours...
I haven't changed anything to my engine in a little over a month, and have no idea what may be causing this.
Anyways when I hit the throttle hard or drive for a few minutes the light disappears and doesn't come back on for the rest of the time my car is running.
Any ideas on what may be causing the light to turn on after its been sitting?

Air filter light? On turbo cars, it will come on when you run out of turbo fluid.
Sarcasm aside..As far as I know, there is no such thing as an Air-filter light.
I would suggest reading your Owners' handbook..hehe
Check and maybe re-fill your rad coolent/overflow bottle
