Even though my car is running poorly and is badly in need of a rebuild, she is still good enough to smack down wannabes. When a Dodge Ram with a Hemi pulled up next to me at the light, inching and reving, his buddy looking over at me in my little Talon like I'm pathetic, I knew that he had to go down... There was no other traffic around and no cops so when the light went green, I started out with a decent launch (not really, my clutch is going so I just do enough so I don't bog) and even with all his V8 might and roaring engine he never passed my nose. Once I hit second it was all over as I zoomed ahead and he had given up by third... I just love embarasing guys who think their truck is so **** hot. Yeah!!!
Finally driving a DSM again!

ya , a stock hemi in a giant truck is pretty impressive considdering that it is a giant truck. I usually don't run our own (chrysler corp.)unless they are like the tools you ran into who think that the number of cylinders and the price tag is related to speed and power.
nice kill
ECLIPSED TSI Apparently too many mods to list,,

For some reason I enjoy destroying trucks almost as much as most hondas and other annoying imports like hyundai tiburons.
Its not that I hate hondas all that much, honda builds some quality cars and at least has two door coupes still for sale ,its just that most honda guys think their cars are fast as heck and most are lucky to hit 16s at our local track.16s is pretty darn slow. Of course tested an auto 2g and it ran mid 16s bone stock and my 2g bone stock ran mid 15s average. But our cars have so much more pontential. Big truck guys are also funny. My big 2001 dodge ram magnum with 260 hp v8 runs like 16.5s and would think the hemis woudl be lucky to see mid 15s.Things are even slower at our local track as its at 1700 feet above sealevel and non turbo NA vehicles run even slower. I saw a bunch of those turbo diesels last time out a few weeks ago and fastest one there was 14.75. Not bad and faster than bone stock dsms .And by bone stock dsm mean bone stock boost levels. A mildly modded auto talon with small 16g ,fmic and 550s and think pump and 2.5 inch catback ran 13.8 so really those big old trucks didn't look very impressive at all. No hemi trucks running that day unfortunately.I will say the hemi trucks look great depending on how they are optioned out. And move ok for a big heavy truck.
1997 TALON AWD ,fully built 2.4,FP3065.
99TAWS6 427 Twin turbo,91 TALON race car,08 Z06.
