Well, not that this isn't extemely obvious as to who you're talking about. But I had actually written up a huge response somewhat like this, and was going to put it in that thread until deciding that I didn't want to clutter up the post with any more useless nonsense.
I like to follow a few basic guidelines. If the post is in a nontechnical or test section such as this, sure have some fun with it and be yourself. But when it's a serious matter, someone needs help, etc. then the childish posting should be done away with and people should try to post in a useful and atleast semi-professional matter.
/rant off.

Same here, I didn't like seeing anybody else in there. I know how I feel about Marco, but I don't need to pollute that thread anymore then it already has been.

Mark and Andy, as I mentioned above, I had actually written a response in that thread and it had to be atleast half a printed page long, but didn't post it because I knew it didn't belong and was just slightly annoyed by the lack of maturity by people who had no business posting in the first place. I just didn't want to become one of those people myself.
I'm glad you guys are open to opinions/suggestions about the forum. I would have said something earlier (through PM or email, etc.) but didn't want to overstep my bounds or anything. The ebay feedback-type system is definitely a decent idea but I'm not sure it really leaves enough room, depending on how you were planning on implementing it. I think basically it's a lack of maturity and constructive thoughts that lead to these types of things.
For the most part I agree with you PPG that Andy and Marco were some of the only people that should have been posting in the thread, but there really are a couple of ways that the forum could go. You could either have each specific topic dedicated solely to resolving the issue between the buyer and seller, with multiple threads for each person and business or allow anyone who has had a good or bad experience post in a thread already established previously (if there has been one) for that particular individual/business.
It really all comes back to the professionalism and maturity of the people posting though. And as we witnessed in the Magnus thread, both established businesses and individuals can obviously have their share of immaturity. In the end it might unfortunately just come down to deleting more unnecessary posts and giving more members warnings (or as you put it, bringing out the ban stick!) to keep the business related forums on a more professional level.
Well, that's enough from me. Sorry for taking up space.

Yeah Steven, thanks, there needs to be some sort of reply mechanism... there are too many details for a one-liner like eBay.
Although, we did talk once years ago about a similar system... before ebay existed, where we could score dealers, and then track it. Maybe that's what we're talking about.

The problem Rick, is that when it's an open post forum, other people seem to feel the need to add their own two cents worth.
Sometimes, it's very good, very helpful, and sheds new light on the situation.
But, at the same time, there are also a handful of people who seem to take nothing seriously, and just post to be a post-whore, or stick their own useless post imbetween.
There's a time and a place for everything...

If i had a problem with a "bad guy" il post and same if it was a "good guy" Now that you insist SO MUCH on hearing this, here it is: Quite CLEARLY THE biggest annoyance in that thread was your highness and you seem so capable of being incapable of grasping that. It wasn't about a good guy thing in a bad guy thread which sometimes is a very good idea. Oh come on!!! you have to be smarter than that man!! But refer to Mike Jackson's reply where he quoted your so many posts. You just stayed off topic for as long as there was fuel to burn there! For this and a few other things Marco would never get my business IF I had any. HIs level of arrogance would probably cause my blood vessel to clot. However it wasn't about Magnus or whatnot. It was about the thread being **** on by those who know nothing about the situation.

Is it not possible to get the message that you are trying to convey across without the use of *'s representing expletives?
Also, before you submit a post read over it. Maybe we need to have a spellcheck incorporated into the UBB (although it still wouldn't help with grammar). Properly presenting your thoughts goes a long way in regards to getting respect.

Rick, you make me laugh boy. I wonder what you ended up doing about the pistons anyways? Did Tyler Gowan get his money back or you just content to have a few unhappy customers! You never returned any of my calls, even went so far as to pretend like you were someone else on the phone but mean while, here on the board you kept saying how you'd "exchange" it. Funny how you wanted it back. What I should have done is straight up taken it to authorities and let them deal with you! Just for your info when dealing with "customers" I Professional business man makes sure all his deals work out and if that means taking a loss then so be it! It's obvious that you’re no where near that level so stay content to keep posting your wicked deals and huge savings I'm sure you'll go places!! I’m glad you’ve done like over 20+ deals that went good, cause if you screwed all of them then you’d have a bigger problem on your hands.

Maybe I should call people too that paid me and tell them a week later that the money is fake....

Noah's a good guy and has no reason to lie.
You, Rick, post immaturely and about 50% of your posts embarrass yourself.
“FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT… you **** **** sucker… etc etc.”
I think you just need to calm it down a level.
You might be right, I don’t know you so I won’t say a thing about the ‘fake’ money nor scuffed up pistons but from how you post, I can tell you are a tool.

Since we are in a test thread and I have 4 pennies in my pocket, being the sharing type, I will give half away. Not for nothing but anybody, anywhere, anytime could pick up a fake due to the proliferation of counterfit small bills. For this reason the majority of retail stores and bars dont take large bills and/or check all bills $20 and up. I say to keep the peace we take a collection of pennies to replace the 20 bucks....I still have two left so I will mail em
Every day I beat my own previous record for number of consecutive days I've stayed alive.

what I dont understand is why everyone is on his side when they dont know the story.
I took it from the bank machine, how did I know it was gonan be fake?
Not like any one cares or thinks im taking ***t but your guys dont know the story.
What I see alot on this site is if someone is a "bad guy", people tag alone and pick on them.
Frist of all no one knows the full story or the "bad guy" in person.
