If you dont have a data logger, this is how you check the codes http://www.myzero.com/electrical/code.html

Thats fine, but you still shouldnt have had to cut the wires. All 1G's have the same plug, turbo or n/t. I am running a 93 turbo sensor in my 90 n/t. 1G to 2G compatability is another issue, that I am not sure about.

what is the engine, what is the car?, what is the ECU? one of us might have same thing and could look it up. the four wires are 2Heater sensor out sensor ground(I THINK) you have to match those in your car whatever it is. 1G sesnsors are ziconium based I think and they are usuakky generic. However you can check it up on www.NTK.com\'s website to see if they have more info about your car!? is your car a Hyundai?!?!

This may help. The 91, 92 Turbo model only had a Canadian only recall on the O2 sensor. Not for the N/T and not for any other model years. Seems to me something is different.
Good luck
Cheers Tony

Yeah something might be different, but the plug I highly doubt.

hyundai, talon, laser use same engine but i think the o2 sensor they might have different connectors...for talon they have round connectors and for laser they have square like with round corners...i use to have with that same problem so what i did i connected it from wire to wire..its hard to tell which wire is for which since u've cut it already. if engine light comes out and code 11..you prob'ly connected the wrong wires.
