How much does it cost to get a boost gauge probe if one already has a gauge and no probe.
Anyone know where they can be found in the ottawa area?

Probe? Is your gauge not mechanical?

A probe for a mechanical gauge consists of a vacuum hose and a plastic tee, total cost 5 bucks.

Electronic boost gauges need a 'sender' (or sensor), not a probe. Each gauge requires a different specific one. Try the original manufacturer.

er..if it's a regular mechanical boost gauge, go to the VFAQ. There is a very good VFAQ there. All you need if to buy a "T" (1/8 inch from a pet supply store-fish stuff) and some silicone hose (about 2-3 inches) and zip ties.

i'm a kill you mr.tarach...
no i did read the vfaq's...and i just wanted to confirm some things....
VFAQ's are actually an amazing thing, I think we're all lucky to have them...you can pretty much find installation of everything in there
I will definatly be following those instructions when installing boost gauges, air can hack..etc

thanks on the feedback guys
