...just wondering how to install/remove the packer washers for this component(as I do not have an instruction manual, and nothing can be found on-line).

There are 3 little studs on the bov, undo the nuts and use an allen key to unscrew the studs. Then twist off the top, be careful though since theres a big spring under pressure inside and can take your eye out with ease if you dont unscrew it slowly.
When you take the top off you'll see the spring, take it out and you'll see the washers. Nothing more to it.

Since I think I'm buying one of these, why would you want to take out the washers?

You need to pack in a few washers so that it doesn't leak at idle. But after that its all PSSHHHH smile

The washers allow you to adjust the pressure it will hold based on the amount of boost you are running at the time. Since I am running stock boost right now, I do not need washers in there...but I will shortly smile
