i have a high pitch whine coming from the front left wheel that is directly related to wheel speed. any ideas, this is on a 93 awd.

Something might be rubbing against something else which is moving, like the rotor, rim/wheel, or the wheel bearings need to be replaced.

Yeah it could be the backing plate making contact with the rotor, or your pads may be low or just noisy.


It's not always how fast you go. Sometimes it's how fast you get there.

noisy pads or bad bearings maybe, i just changed all the brakes but these cheap pads have been giving me trouble. i'm not going to make that mistake again. my biggest worry was that it may be something in the cv joint.
