NOs is actually good for these cars... not only do they come in handy for turbo lag, but Nos is a great cooling agent in your intake and chamber, thus reducing detenation....
I would say a nice 75 spray on a lightly modded engine would do...
But to anwser your question, if your hitting fuel cut, then I would take care of that issue first, then add the NOS....
I know there are a couple of people here that use it, and it works well for them....
