The mine is north of sudbury. Its a nickle mine.

The inside of the processing plant and machine shop was down right scary ****. With the water dripping into the undergound drip.drip.drip. While it may look quite light there, it felt dark inside. Basically that whole level was build on columns above this lower level that was filled with water.


That shot of the mine shaft was done with a 30 second time exposure. It was VERY DARK.

Besides that there was lots of old cool electrical equipmment, and huge generators with pistons the size of my body!

Very cool but kind of dumb to go into a building you don't know is safe.

Ya I was going to say that too David.

I like taking pictures like these, I went up to Cornell U, Ithica NY, in the fall and had my sisters SLR with me. I stoped off to take some pictures of the lake side, forest and general senic roads.
Very beatiful up there.
Would nabbed the DSM in the shots but she was very very dirty from the drive up from London.

Cool pics. I did a mine tour last summer in Sudbury. it's freezing in those mine shafts and we didn't even go down that far.

Actually the further you go down the warmer it gets.

i live there so it's all common to me. actually im going to be working in the mines if everything goes my way. it's a good career if anyone is looking for really good pay with very little work involved
