I think its very worth it. Egt's ar better but when you racing, its alot harder to read a egt then it is to see green.
I know my gauge saved my motor a few times

If your getting an a/f guage at least get a digital one, the blinky autometer one is crap. Personally i'd get an egt gauge over an a/f gauge.

Why do you only ahve to buy one. I have both. Like i said the egt gague is more accurate, and better to tune off of. But an air fuel gauge is not a bad thing. Like i have said its helped me a few times.

OK Jeff Smith,, I know you are a bullshitting Fake,,, Moreso when you are still looking to buy a DSM.... Soooooooo,I'm calling your bluff,,, When you're running 6800RPM's in 5th gear,, #1. What is your A/F ratio? #2. What is your temp of the EGT showing after 8 minutes at this engine revs? #3. And the easiest question, what is your speed at 6800RPM's?? #4. Which exhaust port is the optimum one to put the EGT sensor into? #5.. Just to see if your a complete idiot,, which head flow's the better,a 1g or a 2g? #6. What is the better block? the 6 bolt,or the 7 bolt? #7. Is the 14G turbo better than a T25? #8. Does the lighter 3-bolt rear end, outflow the 4-bolt rearend with the Standard Non-LSD rearend? #9.Which final ratio gives the better top speed? The 3:62 of the 1g,, or the 3:48 of the 2g?? And finally,as D.Letterman would say,, #10. What weighs more,, a 1g,a 2g, or my BALLS???

Haha, nice Bob, nice. Back on topic. I wouldn't bother with an A/F gauge unless you want something cool that lights up on your A-pillar. You can't tune with them, and when your car goes into open loop (WOT), they fast become even more useless. With your mods (ie no fuel mods) you could probably get away with neither. If you do decide to get one, PLEASE get an EGT. However you are getting a good deal on the boost gauge, so DEFINATELY grab that up assuming it is either a) new or b) make sure all the connections are with it. Hope this helps. *edit* If you can get your Talon to Lethbridge, I can lend you my pocketlogger for a few days. Best way to tune...

So.... would you rather lose a race to a ricer or a sleeper? I'll take the sleeper any day.

should the a/f suffice for what i intend to do w/ my car?
thanks for any help A/F gauge is not useless, but it's pretty close. The only thing I found it good for was for pretty girls asking me what it does.
