Hey guys,

Anyone have a good way or product to clean alloy rims that have that nasty yellow build-up of road grime and brake dust? My winter rims are looking like a smoker's teeth and need some attention.

Thanks...

You're on the right track, but you're going the wrong way.

Crappy tire had on sale a Simoniz cordless spinning polisher that hooks up to water. It came with various abrasive pads and brushes.
That and some good rim cleaner got mine looking like new.

What Rob says.

Or What I use is a grey bottle from ct says rim cleaner I forget who made it I think it was simonz. I just cover the rim with the foam. Go pay for the pressure washer by then it has be on long enough when I pressure wash it off it takes alot of the dirt.

Havent tried it on rims that had alot of dirt on it though. Might not work so good.

I leave it in my car and do it every time I was it. But you have to get to a pressure washer to use that stuff.

EDIT: Same name brand that Rob mentions.
