Anyone ever have trouble with oil leaking out past the bolt at the turbo end of the oil feed line? It's pretty much only when I'm into boost that oil will get by it. I've tried replacing the washer with brass washers, but it's still leaking. It's plenty tight, that's not the issue. Are the washers there supposed to be copper? Anyone else ever have this problem?

Actually I do. I never notice it drip or anything so I just check my oil levels and make shure Im Ok and dont worry about it. Mine is really tight too, just see like a small thin line of oil residue under the bolt.

those banjo bolts are usually not reusable. they withstand a lot of heat. those copper washers are crushable. if everythings flat...

Some thin cracks can also leak. seal the threads of the fasteners involved. The sealant needs to be able to withstand the hottest of engine bay temps.

vibration is usually the main cause. it takes practice, but it's not impossible. eventually, it will leak, and you'll have to redo it.

The crush washers SHOULD be copper. It is very soft, and easily "forms" itself to make the seal.

Some times they will use aluminum washers as well but I have found out the hard way that they don't seal nearly as well the copper washers. I have re-used the coppers ones with no problems when the aluminum ones have leaked when new.

If it is a 1g then MF660063 at the head and MF660064 at the turbo.
