After surching dsm tuners for an hour and coming up with nothing I thought i'd try here. I have a greddy type s that leaks from the rear nipple through the front opening and the air seams to be passing the seal around the stem. If I don't connect that rear nipple(sorry I just like typing that word) I get compressor surge no matter what the spring is set to so I gave up on that bov for now. Next issue: so I tried switching to a 1g bov I have lying around and found it leaks like a hairdryer at idle so I tested it and found the leak is between the tiny hole underneath and the front opening. All I'm really wondering is what can I do to fix this? I know that with both bovs my leak is caused by the boost source thats supposed to open them quicker but I was pretty sure they shouldn't leak at idle like that, but after reading post after post in dsm tuners that said in was "normal" for a 1g to piss air at idle i'm even starting to doubt myself. Any info/help is appreciated.
