Well our local shop Modern Automotive Performance (commonly known as MAP) held their "Proving Grounds" event this weekend. I went Friday and Saturday. It was a fun time. Got to see some sweet cars, including Kiggly run some 8's, including an 8.4 which I believe is his fastest time yet. Was a great time.

Anyhow, I ran my new personal best, 10.93 @ 137mph. I was really hoping to break into the 10's this year, and I did it!! I seem to run very consistent 1.8 60ft times, which isn't horrible, but definately something I can improve upon. 1.6 60's should have me a bit deeper into the 10's. What makes it sweeter is the fact that I drove the car there, and drove it home. I did have to replace a busted axle in the middle there somewhere (still rockin a 3-bolt rear haha). But that was it. Car still has full interior, including a 10" sub, Air Conditioning. It's very much a street car. I'm pretty excited!!

Another local broke into the 10's in his 2G. Ran a 10.8 on an FP30xx (don't remember the specifics). He actually won the AWD class. Kiggly won the Q16 class. It was a great time. Here's a few pics / vids to enjoy. I hope someone gets the vid of my 10.9 put up. Our video didn't turn out.

I was running 11.0's last year on almost bald street tires (also full interior), till I went to a slick and broke 10's.

I know how it feels, good job man!
