It's time to let it go. This is my daily driver but the two door thing just isn't for me anymore...or my two year old daughter.

What is still OK with this car:

-Strong at 253K with smooth shifts through all gears.
-Mint interior.
-OK Body. Some rust beginning on front wheel fenders.
-Polished OEM 16"s. Just need a good polish to get them back to shine again.
-Passed Etest in Jan 09.
-Steers straight down the 401 with no vibration at high speeds.

Problem areas (known to me, does not mean there aren't other underlying issues):

-Parking break no workie so it's disconnected for now.
-No AC.
-Gas tank Leak.

Here is what it looked like in it's glory days. Recent pics can be provided.

I'll vouch for Jorge. I've seen this car, I've driven this car, I've worked on this car.

It's immaculate for a 1G N/T. I might buy it if nobody else does.

Thanks Ryan and Jay for your good words.

Pics from today can be viewed here - http://s600.photobucket.com/albums/tt84/jorgempt/

Scharok, I have sent an e-mail to your friend.

The Timing belt+water pump was done in Spring of 2006, at Kingston Mitsu. I think they are closed now. I have a receipt, just not in front of me. The car was just shy of 220K at the time, if I am not mistaken.

Jay - PM me details on your Honda if you are serious. I am in the market for a reasonable 4 door. Don't know if that's what you have.

Guys,

As of tomorrow this vehicle will be unplated for good as I have purchased something else. It's a good local buy, but anyone interested would have to judge it for themselves.

To this date, the little N/T motor pulls strong at 260k. 5speed shifts are all smooth. It was notchy in the winter but for whatever reason my clutch fluid was 2 centimetres down. Topped it up and has not dipped since.

This is a great car for those gearheads that would like to see it as a FWD Turbo project.

I will be monitoring the board and keeping an eye open for PMs.

Thank you DSM community.

I can attest this car runs really nice and Drives very well. If I wasn't head deep in another car I would be picking this up.

Gas Tank Leak has been fixed. It was at the Fuel Sending unit.

Car is perfect for any teenager exploring the 2 door DSM scene. Share the word out there with anyone you know. Pass on a legendary (non turbo wink torch.

Cheers.

Price drop to $500.

The car still drives strong but emits a little bit of blue smoke that is scaring away the average buyers.

Any less, I would be giving this car away for free.

PM me for more details if you would like to take it away.

Thanks for space!
