Hey everyone,

Some miserable S.O.B. stole my motorcycle over the weekend. It was only 9 months old and it was my only means of transportation. The black hearted b$st$rds broke into my garage,(locked with a padlock) and managed to get my bike with a disclok and the steering lock on out of my garage without anyone noticing.(my townhouse complex has 60 units) I got the standard response from the police, they didn't even want to attend. I INSISTED that they show up and they eventually did. They were about as compassionate as Charlie Manson at a family reunion. It's like losing one of the family
Not only am I away from my Talon until December, but the one thing that I had to tinker and play with is gone...
The bike was a Kdx 200 set up as a Super Motard. 16" rims with sticky michelins, reworked suspension(fox unishock), drilled airbox, wisco piston, pro-circuit platnium pipe, and a 42tooth rear cog.(can you say 3rd gear power wheelie ) Now I have the privileage of riding...wait for it....A CITY BUS!! Whooohooo I'm so damn excited I can barely contain myself!(I'm pretty sure buses couldn't do a power wheelie even with JATO assist) Sorry for rambling on but I'm mad at the world and I have a pretty dim view of humanity at present. I thought if anyone would appreciate how much pride and effort goes into one's vehicles it would be you lot.

Anyway I'm through for now, I'm going to sink into a deep depression or kill the next person I see doing something that even looks REMOTELY like stealing.

Chris, man, I can sympathize (sort of). The only thing as bad as the theft of your loved one is random vandalization (is that a word?). In 1998, my '90 TSi was keyed on the street while I was at work. The a$$h@les didn't even stand to gain anything, they just wanted to ruin a beautiful thing that wasn't theirs.
You're right. Humanity SUCKS sometimes. All you can do is act right by those around you and know the jacka$$es will rot in a fiery pit eventually. Most people are good. I'm really sorry to hear about your bike.

you got the wrong dude, I'm only here in oz for work and I will be back in Canada by the end of the year. I'm pretty sure if a had a flamethrower on my bike, noone would mess with me, but I'm also pretty sure the local constabulary might have issues with me pedaling around burning sh!t up.

I know what you mean, I had some d$ckhead bash the hood of my 320i a couple of years back, cost me $1200 to fix. I have to admit that my friends have been pretty cool about it. One of them lent me his gsx-r 600 for awhile. And the others are offering to drive me anywhere I need to go.

Weather is getting colder, down to around 5c at night (freeze yur knackers off, according to the aussies) They don't even understand the consept of minus temps. here. as for the VR4's and EVO's, I saw a truck full of EVO 5s and 6s, including a full rally spec EVO6.
(droooool) opps, got to go the boss is coming.

Hi Tim,
We do have the WRX in 2 states of trim; the standard 210hp rex in 4 door only and the limited edition 300hp sti WRX , in both 4 door and 2 door.(only 800 released)

The WRX we don't get is the sti22B, the 2 door widebody WRX with adjustable suspension,
it's home market only. All in all though, Australia's got some pretty cool cars cruisin' around.

I'm saving up for when the EVO finally hits our shores.... it'll prolly be up at EVO XXI by then or somewhere close to that. Then I'll be one of the 90 year olds that can't physically drive thier beautiful fast expensive cars the way they were meant to. Sigh Any PCB Design positions available down under?

Mike, the EVO will be discontinued next year. I don't know about the Carisma though.
