I'm having a real Lag problem here... and that's with my 14B... I can't reach full boost until between 4000 rpm and 4500 rpm... I think it's really not normal! some pple have full bust way before that...

Someone (I think it was Michel Brais) told me that I must have a cracked wastegate... Anybody support that?

I suspect a cracked exhaust manifold too or maybe an exhaust leak (I also hear a strange noise coming between the turbo and the flex) Can this be the cause of my lag?

And would any of this affect my 1/4 mile times? cause I just did a 14.57 with only a K&N, cut air can and manual boost controler... It seems to me like a decent time!

Try checking your compressor fins to make sure they aren't damaged - I had the unfortunate experience of having the lock nut come off and wearing down the fins- -oddly enough it didn't make that any significant noise except at high RPM.
