I think I know exactly what he was stating Mike, if you re-read it like I did before posting, you'll see he even says "but fools like this fello." And even with millions of dollars, I would imagine the guy wouldn't be thinking that the person who modded this 1992 car he just raced was an idiot. Clearly if you can take a 15 second car, and have the skill to modify (and drive it) to the point of keeping up with an expensive super car, idiot would be the furthest from my mind. Harrison, I definitely do, I've been so busy lately, I think maybe I'll come out to one of the Mississauga meets. I can't wait! Again, GOOD RACE!!

Bah. That Dan guy can't spell anyway. I was thinking that myself, though. How many of you get challenged by Civics with big mufflers every hour or so? What do you think of them? I think the respect comes when you can stay with them, or beating them is even better. And still, at the end of the day, you own a Lambo. And the other guy...doesn't. *Laugh*

And whatever songs he was listening to were played on a stereo worth more than my car. But nice run, Harrison. Probably look twice when another 1G pulls up next to him

that is absolutely the reason to build and be proud of our cars. They are proven again and again to be giant killers if properly built, maintained and driven.
Absolutely perfect. You have to find him and see if you can get him from a stop. He has awd and turbo too, so he has NO, zip, zero, nada, zilch excuse if you beat him in ANY race!!
Have you changed your cams yet?

I got a complaint, so here's my thought. I think he's an idiot for street racing too, but I will keep my thoughts to myself. But, to call him one on here, in a section that deals with such things isn't very polite, so please keep the name calling to a minimum and play nice guys. He should still STOP his steet racing, and if he gets caught under the new laws about to go into place, then I hope he goes to jail and loses his license for a decade.

Have you changed your cams yet? Are you talking about the Lambo having a turbo? Cause if you are, they dont have turbos. If your NOT talking about the Lambo and talking about something else, im an idiot and apologize.

My take on it is like speed limits. There are those that can do it responsibly, and those that can't. I've run people from a light, and on a highway...and cut out early after stomping them. Only to watch them barrel on at high speed through town, or on the wrong side of the road around a corner. Nothing dangerous about what *I'm* doing, but I don't know what they're thinking. They're probably not. So I'm more than willing to comply with laws (closely enough) to make sure that the baggy-pants, gold-clad, sideways cap-wearing Rikky Racerz of the World get what they deserve. Yo.

Agreed Rob.
But everytime a pregnate women dies as victom of street racing, cops take it out on us with 3inch exhausts and tints.
Street racing manufactures stereotypes.
To whomever said, "dude its a $200,000 car would you turn down the race"
So because its a 200,000$$ car, street racing is all of a sudden okay???
I'm sorry, but street racing is like racism, pointless, and the world could do a lot better without.
Sorry Andrew, we all get carried away when we are passionate on certain topics, this just happends to be mine. Street racing hit close to home, I have a friend whos in a wheel chair for life from a motorcycle accident. Not street racing, but regardless being careless with machinary which can take your life away.
Its all pointless, and if all of us just left racing at the track, than some of our friends might still be here.

Is it though? Stereotypes are what get us in trouble with the cops, for having a lowered car with tints and a 3" exhaust. How is getting pulled over for having that "Rikky Racerz" look any different from getting pulled over for the aforementioned, if neither are actually street racing? It's profiling & harassment either way. Please, separate the look from the action. Yeah rob, Profiling its not a good thing at all, but in some cases, its just so true. Exemple, last season just before going to the lapday at shannonville i decide to see how spike was running , so i gave it gas troughout the whole medowvale exit ramp and i reach maybe 180kmh, just before reaching the auctual highway i took it down to the speed limit and merged. Ones on the highway i saw the lights of police car right behind me. I though for sure i was going to loose my license right there. So, an older police officer came to my car and ask me if had any outstanding tickets i told that no i didnt have any, he asked me where was i going i showed him my halmet and told him that i was going to the track and that i usually dont speed (which is true). After checking my driving record he came back and told me that he was letting me go because i looked like i was telling the truth. what do you think would it happen to the "Rikky Racer". Now, how is diferent getting pulled over for having that "Rikky Racer" look, from being pull over for having a 3" exhaust?. Well the diference is that the "Rikky Racer" dont only look like one but it actually act like one, While the actual entusiast thinks about stuff that could come out of a situation in this case speeding just for speeding while there is a ton of trafic ahead, The Rikky racer just wont, i come across this guys all the time, they pull at a light besides you, and rev their engine like crazy, what i do is rev it too, and then watch them go like crazy when green light turns. -Manuel

Street racing is dumb when both guys are going from 0-200 on a road that has other cars around. If you are on a road like trafalger and dundas at night like Harry was and there are no other cars in sight and you are able to drive your car to half its top speed without losing control then by all means. I have had tons of races with fast cars but I shut it down before I am breaking the law to much. I have also never had a speeding ticket, because I dont constantly drive like an idiot racing at every light like these kids who are killing everyone with dumb street racing accidents. Street racing is dumb period, so you dont break the law too much just a little, and you dont constantly drive like an idiot just a little? and YOU can decide when its safe to race on a public street ? late at night on a clear road you cannot predict what going to happen whos gonna pull out, what animal is gonna run out. It happens and if you ever have to notify a family of an accident or clean up the aftermath of an accident that was completely avoidable you may see the zero tolerance side of things Kendall
