Spring is sprung, the grass is griss... I wonder where the competition is?

The clutch is half broke in now... things are feeling pretty good. Finally I'll at least have 2 wheels hooking up when I embarass you guys at the track. Oh and the street... where are those 111.9X trap speeds boys?

Give me a few days of tuning and I'll get a few more mph out of her yet cool .

Well actually if you look at my best E/T vs best trap slips here you'll see that the best trap one had a lower 1/8th speed. That means I made the difference up after that not spinning at launch smile .

Yah, but aren't those STILL on race gas??

Street trim, baby. That's where the REAL men hang out. Last time I was at the strip I didn't even lower my tire pressure.

Steve you traitor... how's the grass over there?

Vince... another year gone by another second off your 1/4 mile? You'll be back to the stock 15s I think now. I thought only those with currently fast cars could talk sh!t. Almost as sad as PPGs whining about his one good day in Ohio at a real track.

Nope you are wrong, the rule states "One may talk sh!t even though not currently fast as long as one at one time was fast" That's taken directly from the bench racing rule book section 5.2.4.14.

You still can't talk much since my 2 year old personal best still hasn't been broken by yourself even after many, many mods.... wink

bla, bla, bla you and your MPH garbage, the fact of the matter is that your 111mph doesn't even get your rubber burning machine in the 12's. rotflmao You are starting to sound like a Supra owner. Maybe if you beg enough you can get Cayuga to move the timing lights up 20' so you can get a moving start lol.

Don't worry soon enough I'll be back in action and then I will run 111mph with my 16g'd AWD wink

Oh and last I checked Vince 13.221 was quicker then 13.295 and 110.79mph faster then 105.84mph.

Hell yeah!

I'm locked and loaded. The PP finally got removed from the garage on Sunday. Steve and I took her out for a ride. Car felt great. Hauled ass (if I do say so myself).

My clutch/flywheel issues should be sorted out now (better be) so bring it on you WWD pansies.

pumpgas or racegas, it don't matter to me.

With Andy's car in hibernation, and I guess it will be my DSM duty to represent for the 2G camp, and well I just may have to see if I can pull a 111mph trap, and gee what do I get if I pair it up with a 1.7 60ft, Oh wait I think it's a WWD wwwaayyyyyy behind. Vince is pretty funny one day, along time ago I was fast...

Well I havn't picked out what to use to replace the little hairdryer, but let's just say that the US tourists were very good with the Buschur Bucks and FP dollars this year. And I'don't think I went with DSMLink to maximise the benifits from a T2small.
The way things are looking I may end up with some EVO parts under the hood.

Ya it means the driver needs work on his head for ever thinking that a WWD car could ever be fast in the 1/4....

See again you forgot to read your bench racing manual, bench racers don't count anything after one decimal place and since I am the one that initiated the bench racing I am faster. Understand how this works now?

I think instead od doing a DSM VS DSM event we should do a DSM vs TORREY and see how many of us can cross the finish line and come to a stop before he crosses the line. laugh
We should set up a track day before the shootout, anyway's how many of you guy's are actually going to race once you get down there?

hehe torrey,

Don't think that just because your Civic can go faster than your slushbox TSI AWD doesn't mean you can be faster than ANY other Turbo DSM.

Where in my post did I say my car was fast?
Where did I even include MY car for the races? I dont see any indication of that anywhere???????

Forget it. I'm not even going to bother. Everyone can keep talking crap, I just suggested that we setup a FUN day of racing.

frack it.

Where in my post did I say my car was fast?
Where did I even include MY car for the races? I dont see any indication of that anywhere???????

Forget it. I'm not even going to bother. Everyone can keep talking crap, I just suggested that we setup a FUN day of racing.

frack it.

If you aren't comparing US to YOU, then we "are all slow" compared to what?

The assumption is that you meant we are slow compared to you.

If you talk smack, don't get mad when you get smacked back.

And especially don't get mad about smack that is spoken in the test area. This thread is here for a reason! wink

Oh please  If you feel the need to post in a thread like this you better be prepared to receive some type of ribbing. There was nothing Steve or anyone else said in reply to your post that was not expected. You got off lightly compared to what Steve, Mark, Mike J etc. have taken. If you're going to be a baby don't post in a thread like this, it's not for thin skinned people like yourself.

Actually it was set up last season, Mark Stole my idea of a FWD vs AWD. And then he Set it up for a Friday, I think he did this because he knew I work mon-fri and he didn't want me to embarrass him or anyone else.

Any way it ended up raining on the friday it was scheduled for.
