12.94 in a FWD! I love this car!
... just not enough to keep it, right? Sad to say, but the dark side IS more fun. I'll still be kickin' some ass though. (Especially after I tooooon it for him )
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

PLEASE! I took car of Vince, and Bienhaus while we're at it, last year. 13.1 @ 100 on pump gas during my shakedown runs doesn't look too bad to me. What did that "12 Sec" FWD of yours run on pump gas and street tires again? I think it's YOU that will be aiming for Vince. (Everyone has to start somewhere.... )

Ahhhh... yes. The FWD trap speed defence. I remember it well. You did 114 MPH on pump gas!?? Impressive. Unless of course it was due to wheelspin for the first 120 feet. So, Mike.. when are you finally going to own up to eating crow like I did? Or are you going to spit FWD arguments out the window of the AWD car you want to buy?

I'm sure a bit was wheel spin but it's funny how quickly you forget how you were able to keep up with PPG on the highway with no where near the mods he has. Anyway I haven't been arguing for FWD lately... I've taken it as far as I want to go. There is a distinct advantage on the highway, that's about it. As I said in the other thread the crow is in the oven and we'll see how it tastes soon enough

Oh, I remember QUITE well how easily I kept up to PPG. Mostly because I was able to do it again in the AWD a couple of weeks ago. Bring it on.

It's not what you think...
PPG is SO sick of me keeping up to him with my wee turbo that he's going to shave all the hair off his body in an attempt to "lighten" up a bit.
I told him it wouldn't be enough weight for him to beat me, but all I got was "Every little bit helps..."
Maybe someday he'll get there.

Nice job Mike. I was tossing around the idea of trading my WRX for that car. It is one awesome machine! Congrats on joining the AWD side! Can't wait to see it run at the track.

Good point Steve. Let me try again:
Hey Mike, that's a nice looking trailer-queen you've got there. How'd you like to have your ass handed to you by a grocery-getter wagon?

"What are you going to do THEN"I don't know... what did you do? I mean you almost got your FWD into the 12s then you switched teams and again almost got into the 12s Thanks Rob, Chris, Phil "Nice car man. Looks like I'll be back to picking on Kinnaird from now on
So whats happening with the FWD? I know you are not dumb enough to want to own 2 DSMs are you "I'll sell the FWD or part it out back to stock to make it my winter car. I haven't decided yet. It's been pretty much a zero maintainance car so far, I'd hate to let it go. But I'd rather sell it modded since it's a good setup. "How'd you like to have your ass handed to you by a grocery-getter wagon?"I'm looking forward to it. "So when is Mike bringing that wood out to a track? "Not sure yet. Maybe as early as June. I'd rather get the stock flywheel out first if I can.

Poor poor Stinger, been reduced to sitting on the road instead of the driveway. Nice purchase Mike. I can't wait to go to the track with you and see that baby go. PPG, you think that bad boy is going to crank walk? You better check the list of mods again. Dean, I'm gonna home grow on Darko???? Uh what?

I'd hardly call 13.67 @ 108 "almost" a 12. I HAVE, however, managed to shave over 5 tenths off my old time with fewer mods. With the EXTRA mods you've got, you better pull something close to an 11. Maybe I'll make the same deal with you that I made with . (Since he doesn't seem to be able to pull it off....) Back up an 11, and shave my head! Looks like I'll be able to grow that mullet after all..
