Naw, different run. The 20.2 was with that other POS MASC system installed, and the PRO-M MAF.
And -shrug- the car may not have run for 4 years, but the point still stands... you've changed just about everything twice over, and you're barely any faster than 4 years ago.
You tell me where the source of the problem is... and I'm not so sure you should be picking on Mike's driving!
I have pictures from the day of the 13.2... of me beating you, so that fact STILL stands.

I'm not sure about fastest time slip.... I think that belongs to me. But I do give you full props for the quickest E/T and on the 11, unlike some of these blokes .

Besides, how can I put the car back together, when people keep borrowing parts from it, to keep their's running!

Yeah, but the water feature looks awesome... you can't do that in Brampton. You'd have your neighbours stocking it... Now, it's got water plants, more ground cover, and fish!

Oh, please. You check in here with nothing to add (because your car is STILL in pieces scattered about the 'back 40' ) once every 6 months or so... and you expect us to keep it going for you every 12 hours or less??

Yup, that's pretty much the size of it. (the part about you having issues, that is) But we should all be fine... I've still got Peckerhead Racing, making chips for PPG, so he'll be slow for as long as we want him to be slow...

Yup, pretty much. You can have the shiniest, most up to date computer, with all the latest polish, bells, and whistles.... but if you can't operate it, you might as well get a Dell.

Or will he switch to the shiny aluminum foil tape! AHhh HA! Methinks the latter! BANG! Cold beers over here Steve... the deck is calling...

"Off the road"?? I haven't driven it for 4 days.
My insurance company is not calling me asking what I'm going to do with the car.
My plate sticker is still Valid (not 3 years behind).
My car starts at the turn of a key. (not 4 years of assembly, and the turn of a key.)
I've NEVER claimed it was pretty.
Just FAR faster than ANYTHING have you have/do/will own.
Get a 1/4 mile slip in the same bracket as me, then we'll talk.
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

"but I will be faster"
No slip? no time.
Until you GET a slip... be quiet, and figure out how to get all those pieces back into something that resembles a car.
Save the (work)bench racing for later. you know.. when you've EARNED it.
Right now, you've gone 13.2. And haven't come CLOSE to that in over 3 years. THAT's what you have to show us in the real world. We don't care what your magically put together car runs in your make-believe world.
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

Uh huh, sure Kinnaird... as you shop for a larger turbo, out of sheet fear of being the slowest guy in this thread... Mark, you want the real list? The fuel line, was just one small item... -relocate battery, and all associated wiring headaches to make it legal -clean and seal all sh!tty rusty factory brackets, etc -install and config dsmlink -repair all of Marco's sh!tty welding, and "test bench" parts that made it onto my car -fix other stuff he said he fixed, but didn't -repair/replace cracked exhaust -install electronic boost controller -retune all -replumb IC pipes -cosmetic items -onboard pc -...and the list goes on. so many things, in so many boxes... I'll never give up on it, but it's also NOT going to be a "weekend project", just so I can hear it run, rub it with a diaper, and back it into the garage again. If I just needed to drive a fast shiny car to feel good, I'd just go buy Dennis' Vette. This is more than that... always was. It's my project, it's my effort, it's my sanity. Trusting others to do it, left me bitter. It's taken a long while to get over that... and if you want to do something right, you gotta do it yourself. And finding the time to do that, is hard. If my spare time was occupied with trivial items, or items resulting in sheer pleasure or profit, you'd have a point... but it's all charitable, so there's no way you're going to tarnish how I've spent my time. Now, get yer butts over here, and help me drink some beers!

Things needed to finish the project:
-relocate battery, and all associated wiring headaches to make it legal -clean and seal all sh!tty rusty factory brackets, etc -install and config dsmlink -repair all of Marco's sh!tty welding, and "test bench" parts that made it onto my car -fix other stuff he said he fixed, but didn't -repair/replace cracked exhaust -install electronic boost controller -retune all -replumb IC pipes -cosmetic items -onboard pc -...and the list goes on.

BTW: I'm currently over 1/2 second ahead of you. That's with a smaller turbo, no cams, no intake manifold, no 3" turbo-back exhaust etc.
You better PRAY I DON'T go turbo shopping. I get something bigger than that small 16G and you'll NEVER catch me.
Just ask PPG for the list of stuff HE had to use to keep up with me.
Although, it's easier to learn how to drive the car when it runs, I suppose.

Yeah, but the list of things I HAVE got done, is equally impressive! It's just that none of them are DSM related. My point being... I'm NOT a lazy ass, I just apparently have a mis-guided sense of priorities, when it comes to the DSM world.

...and as I sit, 10 ft from the falling water (I love wireless in the country), dripping casually into my water feature (pond), .... the Koi gently rippling the surface in the dark as they grab at the food I've just tossed there... ...the smell of the cedar scraps burning in the firepit, gently wafting towards me... ...the moon hinting at it's desire to break the tops of the trees in the distance... ...as I sip at the remains of my 3rd glass of red wine... I realize, that all of these other projects took priority for a reason... and that their completion will allow me the sanity, to one day bring the Mongoose back to life... ...and on that day, no matter how long it takes, you will rue the day, and you will buy the beers. ...just before you return to your urban nightmare, with your neighbours 4 feet away, on, each side, complaining that you've cooked too long on your BBQ, or have your stereo too loud... or that you've cut 3" of their lawn... Life is good. ...and any DSM, is a good DSM, no matter whether it's running or not.
