The only thing that Steves 14.0 1/4mile tells us that the older you get the worse your driving skills are.

Mike you're gettin pretty old too so don't be suprised if you find yourself in the 14 second @106mph/I wish I had an AWD boat too. wink

Some wonderful 2.4s, and 2.5s.. I WISH the spinning had stopped by 60ft... frown

Better be careful with that sig.. ask PPG what happens. tongue (Especially when I've got more options at my disposal than you do. And I'm not above using them!)

Torrey: Trust me. You're STILL slow. (And I don't mean just your car!) laugh

Vince: Ya ya.. I'm getting old, and maybe my driving IS getting worse. Lucky for me though, my "mechanic's skills" have gotten better. It lets me actually GET to the track when I want to.

Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

If you keep getting slower even my Crapolier Z24 will keep up with you. After all I have the same amount of litres as you do seconds in the 60ft.

Ok, kiddies.. obviously you guys haven't been paying attention. You think you can just jump into the BONG! thread and talk about whatever you want!?!?

You 3 need to go back and re-read this thing from the START. Yep. That's right. Go back, read it all. From the beginning. Don't just jump in with a wiseass comment and think you're included.

When you're done reading, then (and only then) decide if you got the balls, AND the horsepower.

If you think you do, I'll meet you on the highway.

Then, the 4 of you (Yes.. PPG will be back there too...) can meet me. I'll already have the beers waiting for you.

Now, let's forget about your E.T. worries. 'Cause this race just gets going after the 1/4 mile...

Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

Not sure. My buddy is coming down from Ottawa this weekend so it depends on when he leaves. If he leaves Sunday (or has plans with family) I'll make it down in the new girl. She still needs a few items before she can race though.

Actually it seems that your FWD POS and 14sec driving skills is the only thing that doesn't belong in here. tu

The race just starts after the 1/4 mile eh? I wouldn't be taken that car of yours past 60km/h nevermind 100mph with those bifocal geezer eyes of yours. tongue

Don't be scared of the Z24 you will grow to like the chevy bowtie on the rear tail.

soooooooo I think I finally get why Steve offers to help me with my car.

Saturday we got together to pull out the A/C from the car. We started late, and finished even later. We ended up ripping 2 of the injector o-rings, and Steve donated 2 of his for my car to get me home. I left his place about 1:30am.

Today I look under the car and see oil stains on the ground. I took the car out for the ride today and found more oil leaking from somewhere. Turns out WE left the hose clamp off the fuel return line. HE accidentally ppg

You win for the cheapest bastard ever to live tongue

I was the fastest and quickest.

If it was about money spent, then I should have bought a Porsche like Dennis.

If its about who's car is sexy, fast and exotic looking, then I win bird

You should have bought 2 Porsches.

Purple, is neither fast, nor exotic.

What I just realized is even worse though:

With the high 10s and LOW 11s we saw there that day, both of us should STFU. laugh

When all is said and done though, my car and I are way cooler than your car and you. tongue

LOL! You've still got that can of whoop-ass don't you?

Yep.. been a long time. Apparently, some things never change.

The only difference is that back then, you kept pushing coolant trying to stay ahead of me. Now you're spewing oil. While my car sleeps quietly in the garage tonight without a fresh drop of anything underneath it. smile

Oh I can sure handle some smack talk after a decent day of racing pimp

puff puff

I've seen the Peckerhead/PPG grudge match going on for some years now. I'll stay out of that one, since its out of my league wink

I really thought Tim would have been game though. Guess not this year.

Bring your own.. we can pop it on PPG's exhaust manifold. It's not good for much else.

Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

My exhaust manifold is very good at catching and burning off excess power steering fluids, oil, coolant and whatever else I can spew at it tongue

I'm right there, I just need race gas, a new tune for the gas, a new 3-4 hub and sleeve and a good third gear.

Slick will be for next year. Then it will truly be fair.

Will anyone be coming out for the CSCS event on Sunday? I was there last event, and I didn't see any DSMs (other than Marco's).
