Ronnie,
I'm out of my league here please don't be offended.
I have a picture that I wouldn't mind using as an Avatar. These things are supposed to move? I clicked on yours and I got a nice yellow box saying 'Avatar'. No kidding.
What I see is a 1" square with a black and white picture of some kind of rodent baring it's teeth at me, possibly a muskrat, or perhaps a scarab beetle interupting a picnic on a white napkin.
I don't think that's what you intended. Josh's car is obvious as are most other avatars and the others are in colour.
I'm not joking as I have an idea for my own but yours doesn't show on my machine properly. Am I missing something? And yes I'm dial up.
Cheers Tony

Cheers Tony Hey Tony, The avatars don't have to move. I just think the guys with the moving avatars (which are called 'animated gif' - the animated part just means they move or change, and the gif is just the picture format, like jpg). Ronnies is an animated gif of the video that was recently posted of someone trying to yank his friend out of a snow bank and insteads ends up detaching his friends rear bumper while the remainder of the car stays nicely lodged in the snow. If you're on dialup and/or have a slow computer, the gifs might end up not loading properly or might get smooched together into one odd looking picture, like how so described so eloquently. You defintely have a way with words! Scotty

I love dial up . Ok here we go again. Ronnie. Some guy trying to poke his eyes out without removing his glasses. Not to bright an idea with or without the glasses. Oh well, some people are not mechanically inclined. The terrible twosome being the two Robs. One is some kind of Dahomean Voodoo creature from Haiti, or a Hendrix wannabe but with a ventrical fin for a beard. Must use a lot of Hercule Poirot moustache wax for that thing. Imported from Christies in Belgium I suppose. And the other Rob I think is Nancy Sinatra, with a male head pasted on, getting ready to play 'These Boots Are Made For Walking'. I can't tell if he(it) is wearing Victoria Secrets fish net stockings, but the black hot pants and boots are definitely Nancy. Josh. Who needs a cable connection when I can look at these things. Keep up the avatar humour. It's amusing. If they are accurate portraits please don't turn up at any meets. You'll scare the bejesus out of me. Thanks guys. Cheers Tony
