If so, watch which end of the bar you cut. One end has a left hand thread, it would be difficult to get that end re-cut deeper. Cut the end with the right hand thread. I also understand you have to cut the plastic trim piece to install the 2g bar on a 1g/

rre and extreme are two companies that make rear bars in case you don't feel like messing around. Buschur racing think also makes a rear bar.
