!!!Gaydar alert!!! sector 7g.

Hey man, pistons are made from wood, just stick some twigs in the hole and everything will fix itself. Problem solved.

Do you know how a motor works? Have you read a manual or searched some of the archives? Let me help you by saying this, READ THE fracking MANUAL.

Ignorance is not an excuse.

Tyler, frack off.

Josh, if you don't know how to do it, than you probably want a machine shop do it it right. There are certain clearances which are needed that you won't be able to manage to read. Keep your non-turbo pistons and run low boost.

I have not done it. I understand it is difficult to do with the engine in the car, but not impossible. Easier with the engine out of the car.

Bawhahahaha Tyler you crack me up.

I have re-rung two blocks, while they were in the car. If your doing a serious engine rebilud, I would remove the engine.
You can do it in the car, honing the cylinders gets messy, and you have to make sure you clean everything before you reassemmble the engine. You do not want tiny shavings in your bearings. Measure the cylinder bore for, taper, and out of round, you want to make sure the bore isnt worn out too far. As usual plastiguage the rod bearings, before reassembly.

This is not a job for a beginner. I have 3 out-of car engine rebiulds, 2 in-car, and numerous hours hanging out at the machine shop under my belt. Feel free to ask anymore questions.
