i picked up the Showoff Krypton series bulbs today and installed to my car. they are really bright (4300K) and for the price ($60)it is half the price of the PIAA. i really recommended these to anyone looking to get lamps for them car but dont wanna spend $150 on a pairs of PIAA. From what the store owner told me, the Krypton Gas inside the bulb will make them cooler and last longer than the regular hyper white high voltage bulbs. the lenes are made in Japan and the filament is made in Germany. anyways go try these out and see the differences yourself. It also come with 3 month warranty. by the way, i bought them from Speed Bump in Mississauga. Any question about the bulbs, ask for Michael (905)569-2202
i am looking for parts for this car, if you have anything to make it go faster then let me know.

performance inprovements.
They are the "Heliolight" 9005 halogen headlamp. by lhumico
135w 12v.
you can ask for them by part number LMH9005XP (i work there)
they go for about $10 a bulb
but remember bulbs over 65w are illegal so i will accecpt no responisibility for anything that may happen. i use mine as highbeams because i do alot of driving up north.

How about sealed beams for 90-91 1G's. The only ones I can find are the crappy motomaster ones and they last like 3 months!

sealed beams? im not too sure what you mean by that.
are you talking about a secondary set of driving lights (fog lights with clear bulbs)
other then that, 1g and 2g talons all take the same bulbs (correct me if im wrong) 9006 for lowbeams/ daytime runners. and 9005 for highbeams.
theres many many diffrent manufacturers out there, and the top of the line would be PIAA for just about any aplication.
to name a few others, tucan (ractive), APC, Lumiko, and eurolight are among the best quality.
check out ANY speed shop, or napa for them.
but if you want my opinion.....the PIAA bulbs are very expensive, and lumiko offers almost equal quality for about 1/3 the price. Tucan and APC are more focused on the import/"rice" types, and tend to be a bit too blue for the law.
as for secondary lights, i just picked up a set of the tucan TF-1400 mini spot lamps for $100, very bright, and crystal clear

They are on the 90-91 talon/eclipse/laser's. You know how they have the pop-up lights? Well it is the big rectangular headlight that you see, not the bulb. They are on a lot of older vehicles. Hope this helps!

i know hella, and optilux makes rectangular lights, by a rough estimation i would say they would be pretty close to fitting.
i remember seeing a pic of a car that had this swap done, and if i remember correctly it was darko that posted pics of it. on a white 1ga with the pop up lights removed. maybe he still has the link......?
again, check with a speed shop/napa....and look through some catalouges......they usually have measurments.

The headlights are ok on that, but the fogs look like two giant saphire cystals sticking out. A little to ghetto for me...

Hella has the H4 Conversion. They are (if i remember correctly-i will double check later) $125 per unit for the 1G.
This is price i got from Performance Improvements so they will be more expensive than you can get elsewhere.

I have PIAA Super White headlights, and I love them. They show no blue at all, just white. Much whiter than stock. They're also DOT approved, so they're legal.
Write that down.
