Got my VIS hood today. I couldnt wait till tomorrow to show pics with the pins installed (which look killer BTW) so heres some pre pin install shots. More pics tomorrow after we install Pauls hood as well. BTW, dont hesitate to deal with VIS, top notch service!!! Like I mean TOP NOTCH! Grant bent over backwards to give us a SMOKING DEAL, give us the best available packaging Ive ever seen and make sure the shiping arrangements fit into our busy schedule. Ten thumbs up to them. Hey Rob, Here is a link for headlight covers to help keep the money flowing out of your pocket and into your car: http://www.frankscustomfiberglass.com These would look really good with your hood. Only problem is the carbon weave looks a little different than your hood:

First of all, carbon fiber is not rice in my opinion, its sick, thats that. I just dont see it being ricy. Ok, mabey a little, but its not like its gross rice, carbon fiber works on all cars. Thats about as ricy as I will go. If it didnt look so good, how come I got all these responces? Secondly, thanx for the responce. We got Pauls hood and pins on today as well, but his camera died after the first pic, so no shots of my pin install, or his install till later.

I dont know how much lighter than stock it is but to give you an idea, I had no probs lifting it with one hand, moving it around here and there. Its damn light!! We call VIS directly, and asked them if they could match a price one of their vendors was giving in a group buy somewhere else. We got the two hoods shipped to just outside Niagra falls NY for $800 usd (shipping included) The boarder people let us go as well, they didnt even question us at all. Lucky I guess. To your door? expect to be raped with duty and brokerage fees. If I were you, I would call them, make up a story saying you wanted to price match one of their vendors, have it shipped to a US address, pour some cola on it to make it sticky, mabey a little dust to dirty it up. Then bring it accross and declare it used. You might get lucky like us and be let go, if not, declare it for like $100 and pay the lousy 15% tax.
