Trust me, I have had my share of broken center diff's over the years and after every pass I check to see if I have broken it. That was the only thing I was worried about as I am still running a stock diff. I just haven't gotten around to upgrading to a 4 spider.

I do know how to break it, and how the car feels when you break it. Almost all the time it will break if you start to wheel hop and don't back off. Other than that, I just let the clutch out slightly to take up the slack, and then just go, which gives me some nice wheel spin, and no broken diff.

Wheel hop and no backing off = broken diff.
The tranny in my car is perfect still and I am still looking for someone who can make one for me with the extra guts and cores I have lying around, instead of forking out the $$$ for a new one.
