Where do I get this T fitting to install my Autometer boost gauge? I have searched and couldn't get all my questions answered. Now I have a T fitting that will fit into the fuel solenoid hose (whatever its called), but the nylon hose supplied won't fit, it will slide inside the t fittings nipple and I could seal it with epoxy, but I don't want to do a half assed job (no offence to those who have done it that way ). My dad thinks he could make something for me using a brass t fitting and the same type of fitting thats on the back of the gauge, ya know with the compressor sleeve, etc etc, but is there a better way of doing it? I've heard of using 1/4" vacuum hose, but how would it attach to the gauge?? Thanks for the help.

you just get a barbed nipple from home depot that's smaller or bigger than the vaccum hose and just get the female end the same size as the fitting on the back of the gauge. I used the epoxy though and did a really clean job and everything works awesome and looks awesome, just my 2 cents.

This is easy (I just did it). I used a plastic T fitting from my old Accord, any vacuum T will do (you can get one at CTC or a scrap yard). I attached the nylon tube to the T with a piece of molded (so it fit better) vaccum hose. It's not necessary to epoxey them together and it looks and fits very nice (not half assed).

Actually Rick that sounds like a good idea, just slip the nylon tube inside the fitting nipple and put a piece of vacuum hose over the nipple and the nylon hose and just zip tie both ends to seal it. It may not be perfect, but it will work.
The way my dad does things, it always has to be perfect and maybe its rubbing off on me a bit, lol.

Darko, you beat me to it.
Now I'm thinking vacuum hose from the fitting to the inside of the car, then the last foot of it would be the nylon hose zip tied, just to avoid melting the nylon hose in the engine compartment, like Jeff was saying.

That's nylon tubing, though. Rubber solutions won't apply. I found a brass T that I could force the nylon tube onto that held good. Otherwise, your father's idea of using screw-on compression fittings is best if you want to do it properly.
I used that for awhile, and then changed over to rubber hose with barbed T fittings.
