My car neon is a 96' black lowered, With some stickers on the door panel.

I got the NLTS setup so 125mph traps should be quite doable, lets hope the stock 7bolt is up to the task...

Randy what car you going to be there in? I will probably show up when they are opened. Get some runs in before it gets real busy. That and my runs take longer then all the nice cars. I'll be trying to keep a look out for everyone in a dsm. I should be able to find Kevin if you are there. Still remember the cruise to the peckerhead shootout.

I went there last year and completely made a joke of every other car. The announcer couldn't get over how fast I made it to the 1st turn. Other than some excessive wear on the tires, it was an easy $100. Oh yeah, and they throw in a couple bags of Humpty Dumpty chips.

I finally got into the 13's. Best time 13.8@ 17psi. Not overjoyed but I'm kinda happy. Then a Maxima challenged me to race on the 401 on the way home, i figured what the hell, so I downshifted to 4th and just walked away from him it kinda boosted my confidence, but I can't believe how slow it was. I'm not sure it is was the 2.5 or 3.5, but he hung out the window and challenged me!!!

Traction was a big problem at the track tonight.

The best race was on the way home from the track. Kevin, please chime in.

It was a fun night overall but I could not hook up/launch the car again. Thanks to Tim Hunt for vide taping turned out great, it was nice meeting new dsm members. my times were

I was disappointed in the way my car performed at the track. I got in 3 run but didn't get a log until my last run. I was getting out of the hole decently (1.8's) but the car would fall completely on its face with the shift to 2nd and then would sputter like a biatch. I'd hit third and it would sputter again all the way thru the traps. I ran a best of:

The sputtering doesn't happen if I get on it in 2nd and then NLTS 3rd, it seems only to happen after I launch
I feel I'm getting too much meth during shifts. Same thing was happening to Reza at TMP a couple weeks back when he went with a larger meth nozzle. I have to figure out a way of cutting my injection once I clutch in. I have a special thanks to Randy, Todd and Helder for making my night possible. I haven't been able to find my boss for over a week so I haven't been paid. These guys paid for my gas, entrance fee, food and even 5L of oil on the way up......damn oil drain plug, I swear it was sabotage I owe you guys BIG TIME!

Todd must have been referring to our TEST on the way home....not a race....to see who spooled faster. Todd with his .83A/R GT35R or me with my DBB FP3575. In a 5th gear pull from about 100km/h I would gradually pull and start to walk away, BUT in 3rd he's right there with me.

Aside from the dissapointing performance, I still had a good time. It was great to see all the DSMs there. It was good to see Paul again, and meet Tyler, Tim and a couple of others.

WOW, my longest post ever

Looking at my only log, during my shifts I was still seeing a lot of boost, which means my meth injection was still on spraying a $hit load of meth (2x M14) which was dropping my AFRs to low 9:1s coming on to the next gear. I'm going to have to figure out how to hook up my meth to my clutch switch so it kills the injection once I clutch in. Any ideas are welcome.

I ran a 12.0 at 120. The car was knocking pretty bad even running lower than stock timing, gotta get that figured out.

The worst part of the night was when I almost got beat by a N/A SOHC Neon. I kinda botched the 1-2 shift, but still very humbling.

Always good times hanging out at the track though.

Kevin, shouldn't the Meth shut off when the boost drops between shifts?

You could also try just running 1 nozzel as 2 M14's is alot of meth!

In most cases it does, but since I'm running a progressive system it begins to spray at 1psi. During the shift I'm seeing anywhere from 7-18psi, so the meth is still activated. I'll be running my meth injection thru DSMlinks nitrous controls, so when I clutch in it'll cut the meth delivery. But it turns out that wasn't my problem at all. I had 2 spark plug that were barely threaded in. I went to check my plugs to see if they were fouled and/or regap them and a couple of them were really lose. I did them up and all is good now. I swear it was sabotage!

lol it was the same person that loosened the drain plug on the highway. Damn gremlins!
