Hey Octavio, in case this is for your DSM and you didn't notice - I think this only works on 2G and other OBDII equipped vehicles!

Thanks Rob, but it's not for my DSM, it's for my Legacy. My DSM is semi-retired from Daily Duties.

For those not wanting to click links:

[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]

Two of the newest features I thought were most worth looking at:

1. XGauge

It is now possible to add up to 25 additional gauges to the 12 that are currently available to most vehicles. The available features include:

* Displaying a Trip Value as an XGAUGE.
* Displaying instantaneous Horsepower readings
* Displaying vehicle specific information* such as: Transmission Temp, and MUCH more!

2. Cost Per Mile

You can now enter how much was paid per gallon/liter of fuel and have the ScanGauge calculate the cost as you drive. This will come up as a Cost Per Mile gauge, also in your trip functions you can view the cost of the current, yesterday's and the total tank fuel cost. With the new Add-A-Gaugeā„¢ function you are able to view current trip cost as part of the 4 simultaneous gauges.

Anyone know if the unit allows you to change between Canadian and US units?

I hate MPG and Fareheit readings.

Nevermind. I just found out that it does.

Well, you can either wait till the GB is over, or simply order right NOW and pay 10 extra bux. Just make sure you mention it's for the C7 Performance group buy.

I have had this thing in my DSM for 3 months now and it's a pretty handy little tool. I use it primarily as my volt gauge, and to see what kind of MPG I am getting at any given time.
I haven't used it to read/clear any CEL's yet, which I am thankful for, because that means nuthin's wrong wit the car. wink (at least, not from an sensor POV)

If you plan on having it connected permanently to your OBDII port (which I do) it sometimes causes your speedometer to stop working, in that the needle will not move and in some cases will drop to "0" even while moving.
This can be remedied by simply wiggling/slightly pulling the connector out of the OBD connection.
There's a happy spot where the speedometer will come back to life, and the scan gauge will still work.

I only now discovered how to enter in the code to make it read hp, (as it didn't come with that ability out of the box) so it remains to be see how well that feature works.

Yup, 150 was the price shipped right to your door. 140 was the price all shipped to 1 location.

Good stuff, let me know how you like it.

Yeah, I just ordered mine too and I go the same price as Octavio. Please forgive me if I'm wrong, but there was never anything said about $140 shipped to one location and $150 shipped right to your door. I read $139.95 shipped, that was all.

I've emailed Tom directly and inquired about this issue.

Sorry for the confusion again, the link to the official group buy (http://forums.c7performance.com/showthread.php?p=190150#post190150) that I posted contains the shipping information. Again, sorry for not being clearer as I thought that everyone had seen the original post.

Please do email Tom as he's a very fair person and might even reimburse you that amount.

Thanks again guys.

I received mine today. Haven't tried it yet just had a chance to set it up and see all the features it offers. Pretty darn impressive little unit for $160.00. Even though my Grand Prix brings a drivers information center that displays 90% of the items the Scangauge has, it doesn't hurt to have additional features on an aftermarket unit smile

Oh no!!! It's a small package Octavio. I know that Tom was waiting on a shipment that came in on Friday and that's why I received mine a bit late but yours should've been right behind mine.

For what it's worth, I had a chance to try it out today since I spent the whole day on the road and I have to say that it's pretty neat. I'm really happy with it smile

LOL, luckily not yet Grant. As strange as it may sound, I love having the Water Temperature feature. The 04 Grand Prixs run a bit hotter than the older models so it's nice to keep an eye on the temperature at all times smile I also tried the fuel features and the values are quite different than the stock information centre so I really don't know which one is actually correct, other than that it's perfect.

So far so good Grant.

I do have one question though...

The product advertises the little white keys as backlit but mine are not, is this typical or did I receive a faulty unit?
