Hey guys, I was talking to Helder and asked "how come you never come out to the meets?" Then he replied with "I'm always working on cars, besides, I have a bbq, let's just have the meets here".

He was serious too, fire up the bbq, have some drinks (you need to supply your own drinks though), he wants to see the whole street covered in DSM's.

I think it's a cool idea, a bbq cookout car meet? It's perfect!

Let me know what you guys think, and I'll let Helder know if he needs a bigger bbq.

I personally think it is a great idea. The Yorkdale meets have been getting a little "stale", hardly anyone I know goes in to the food court anymore. I think a meet at Helder's would be more relaxed. We also wouldn't have to worry about annoying the mall cops or other shoppers...and what could possibly be BAD about a bbq??

I think it's a good idea but I don't know how many cars can be parked on the street.

I think Helder having people over to his place is a fine idea if he wants to do that.

But trying to move the regular Yorkdale meet to Helder's house is a bad idea. People are already confused about when and where the regular meets are happening. Changing it again will just cause more confusion.

Plus Helder should really be the one inviting people to his house. smile

I was at Helders again today and mentioned what you said.
He said, "where do I have time bro, I work all day, come home and work on Talons. I check messages, then back to the car, blap blap".

He asked me to do this for him, and I like a good bbq. Besides, if someone needs work on their car, he'll be right there to talk to about it.
