"I don't have any money. What I DO have is a particular set of skills..." BTW, Definitely do NOT go see 'My Bloody Valentine 3D'. My wife dragged me to see it since she liked the original (filmed in her hometown). The 3D effects were pretty good. The action/horror sequences were also good. But the acting and dialogue... My GOD the dialogue! It was the first movie I actually tried to fall asleep to! When the inevitable group of kids starting acting up in the back, and started fighting with people that were asking them to keep quiet, they stopped to watch an action sequence JUST before I was about to turn around and tell them that the dialogue was so terrible, it really didn't MATTER if you heard it or not. Seriously, it was BAD.

Have seen 'WatchMen' since. Liked that one. Too bad I didn't get to see it on IMAX, but that would have been overwhelming if you hadn't seen it before.
Also went to see 'Knowing' the other night. Not bad, since I was expecting 'National Treasure 3' and it wasn't like that. The ending was a little preachey, though.

Fast and Furious (4) disappointing, compared to the other 3. Less substance, worse acting. Taken was a great surprise and quite wicked. If you're into horror or don't mind it, try checking out the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. It usually has some really great films.

I agree with Daren, Fast and Furious 4 was better then the first, second or third IMO.
Taken was a awesome movie.

F&F4 was terrific, I saw it yesterday. Had a fantastic storyline.

Id say...Fast & Furious 4 focused too much on the plot and not enough on the actual cars. I think they forgot that people never cared about the stupid story line...It was always about the cars, thats what we all go to see. We dont care about Vin Desiel and his love life. We care about whats under his hood. Feel me?

For a throw back movie I saw Traffic last night. What an awesome movie. Went into it expecting very little and I really got wrapped up in the plot. A lot of big name actors for the time (2000). Great Sunday night movie.
You're on the right track, but you're going the wrong way.
