Anyone know where I can pick this up? I've heard it called "window weld". Any brand will do. Thanks.

Speedy Glass will sell you a tube. It's a thick black substance that is applied using a caulking gun.

I spoke to my jobber and he carries black urethane. Window weld is a 3m product so any supplier that stocks 3m should be able to order it if he doesn't have it in stock. Thanks Ryan.

No problem.

To add: This stuff is also great for re-attaching body panels when/if they fall off.

And prepare to get Popeye forearms if you have a manual caulking gun.

lol...The real reason I need this stuff is to fill in the shiny outer chrome strip at the base of the windows (top of the door) since the rubber part is no longer available. I'll be using an angled painters brush to apply it.

I will also use this stuff in the Laser to repair the passenger side dash foam right above the glove box which is protruding outwards. Once I've applied the urethane between the metal and the foam I'll use gray tape to fasten it for 24 hours until dry.

The last time I used this I filled old worn carrier bearings. Needless to say it was a waste of time and effort as it all oozed out over a couple weeks time. shuffle

I'm open to suggestions if anyone here has another approach.
