Haven't update this in a while. Not much has changed, slowly gathering parts for the 14B to go on. Don't know if I'll be done with it this summer, if not, I'll have to make the car really nasty next year.

Got sick and tired of looking at my flaking window trim/drip rails so I bombed em flat black. Good from far, far from good but it looks a lot better then before so I can live with it. I'll replace them at some point.

Picked up a Taylor Cable Battery Cutoff Switch and Tsunami Fused Distribution block.

Also got a cheap amp kit to use for rewiring my fuel pump (still need to do that, maybe this week or next if I have some spare time).

Picked up some catch cans from Jamie Loo. Picking up my painted valve cover this weekend. Waiting for some AN Fittings to come in.

I've got some more stuff on order, slowly crawling ahead but progress is progress.

I always wondered why People didnt just attempt to paint that trim. Just a matter of finding the perfect shade of black and the right amount of shine?
Looks better than cracked open anyways smile

How hard was it to pull the window trim rails off?

I had mine painted the same colour (black) as the body when the rest of the car got painted. Looks like you have a lot of hard work ahead of you Anthony, but it'll pay off!

Same as the headlights though... you've definately got a lot of time/money into the beast eh?

Trim was easy to take off. I will replace it one day but this is good enough for now.

Here's a link from Tooners: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...orn-out-2g-door-trims-drip-moulding.html

10 screws under the moldings.

So I spent an hour sanding the catch cans tonight, my freaking arms are SORE!! They are not anywhere close to done but I've got most of the red paint off. Lots more work to be done.
[Linked Image]

I also ordered a few parts this week.
Oil Cooler Kit
Oil Feed Line with inline filter
JM Fabrications Small Battery Relocation Tray

What happened to the relocation to the tunk you ask? Well I started thinking about it and I had to buy a lot of sh!t, battery box, lots of wire, remote battery terminals, blah blah blah.....this way is a lot simpleir and likely lighter.

Now all I need is:
-10 Drain line
- Hoses for catch cans
- Odyssey PC680 battery
- Header wrap

I'm also working on a pretty cool cooling set up. Due to the size of the stock fans I'm going to switch to slim fans to get more room. I want to keep the fan shround so I'm going to buy a complete Mishimoto set up (radiator, fans and shrouds, thermostat and silicone hoses). To top that off, I'll be using this set up I found: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...mic-programmable-engine-temp-system.html

This is very cool in my opinion, it will allow me to keep the car running between 180-190*C, stock the car runs between 200-206*C. That's a BIG difference.

Getting closer to my goals for this year. Hopefully I'll get there before the snow flies.

Anthony, do you know if those catch cans have any baffles / demister pads inside them or if they're just hollow. I'm guessing the latter.

Picked up some parts today.
First I drove to the UPS depot to pick up parts they had for me since last week. Finally had the day off work to go pick up the parts.
Ordered a JM Fabrications Battery box (uses a PC680 battery) and a oil feed line (-4 stainless with an inline filter). All these parts came from Extreme PSI, happy with the service but I wish they didn't ship via UPS, duties fracking suck!

Also went to Teknotik and picked up all the AN fittings I ordered (minus one which is on the way).
Box of AN fittings
[Linked Image]

The first set of fittings is to allow me to run my oil catch cans into the valve cover without welding. Got the idea from a Honda Tuning mag.
[Linked Image]

All assembled.
[Linked Image]

The other set of fittings will allow me to run the temperature sender for my oil temperature gauge inline with the return line on my oil cooler (currently on order from Street Tuned Motorsports).
[Linked Image]

All assembled (I'm waiting on the one hose end).
[Linked Image]

Lastly, I had my buddy Andy drill and tap my Evolution oil filter housing so it will accept the low oil light (aka your already screwed when this comes on light).
[Linked Image]

I'm so close I can taste it!

I know about the move. They were waiting on fittings to come in, I was told that would be on Monday and they just had to assemble them. So I assume it should be shipped by the end of the week.

Installed my O2 dump and 3" down pipe today. First off, what a bitch it was to install it all. Finally got it all mated up and started the car, sounds a lot different now.

Factory O2 housing removed. I can believe how easy it came out, only need a bit of PB Blaster to loosen the bolts.
[Linked Image]

Andy unbolting the cat, I already dropped the down pipe out of the way.
[Linked Image]

Stock down pipe and O2 housing out of the car.
[Linked Image]

The dump after driving the car a tiny bit (it's not a nice blue/purple color).
[Linked Image]

Lastly, a little vid, yea, it's loud.
