hey guys,

ok, its dangerous driving this car now - getting onto any highways. The clutch is slipping like 4 grand now. I have to accelerate very slowly anywhere i go now...

Its a 1996 Eagle Talon TSi AWD - 142,000 Km's on it.

I have waiting to be installed:
ACT 2600 PP
ACT XACT flywheel
Kevlar street disc
TOB
Steel cable clutch line
Royal Purple gear oil

I dont have:
pivot ball
fork
mechnical knowledge to do it myself

Im not sure if i 100% need the pivot ball and fork to do a good clutch change. Some insight to that?

Let me know whos interested and your price.

P.S did i mention, my clutch slips FOUR GRAND?! weep

as long as there isnt any visible wear and tear on the ball or fork you can re-use them. If you had a stocker in there they're probably still good with that low kms. you should bleed the clutch fluid and check the slave and master for leaks while you are there.

If you can, might as well get a fork and a new pivot ball. Your already there, might as well replace them.

I almost forgot what 2nd and reverse gear feels like.

Yeah, the problem with that is, i would need another $250ish for those two items and im already pretty broke having to pay someone for the clutch job. Someone said they would do it for a 24 and $100 isn't answering back frown

Contact Ziggy; I do not think that he will be charging you $250 for those two items.

Get a hold of him; rtmracing dot com

Drive it to Ottawa and I'll do it.

Although it will take me a little longer as I currently have 2 broken fingers.

Easiest is email transfer. Paypal charges me big fees. For paypal, total would be $100.67. Either way, please pay to: ziggy@rtmracing.com and don't forget to include your shipping address.

If your clutch has been slipping don't forget to have the flywheel resurfaced as well. It is likely pretty burned up,

Honestly Josh, I deal with ziggy every time after I find no one has a better price, and his shipping is so cheap its not worth picking up yourself, AND it comes promptly. Just my 2 cents because I dont know why youd pay more to go pick it up than to have it shipped...

Doing a starter or something of that effect, i tried and succeeded...however, doing a clutch is important and if i made a mistake, it can cost me A LOT. So i think ill leave this to someone who knows what their doing, soak it all up and learn smile
