I just called four local auto parts stores to no avail... Where can one find new 2G AWD LSD rear axle(s)?

I see JNZ has Mitsu ones listed @ $209 USD, but I was kinda looking for a cheaper aftermarket solution.

$209 USD each for rear OEM axle shafts (incl. outer CV joint) as per my link above.

The rear OEM inner CV joint from JNZ is another $400+ USD each. shocked shocked shocked

Hello.

I went through this two year ago.

2G Rear Axles are pretty much a Dealer only item. On top of that each Axle/CV Joint comes in two parts.

1) Outer Joint and the good old Shaft

2) Inner Cup

IIRC the Inner Cup is about $380 per side, add on part #1 and you have an expensive $haft.

Note: part #1 is the same for the Non-LSD or LSD Axles. The LSD Inner Cups (aka part #2) are different.

Ghislain.

Thanks Ghislain.

Looks like used is the only economical way to go. That or have your own rebuild, I suppose.

I do not know which part of the Rear Axle(s) you need but the Inner Cups can be hard to find. Heck you could use an Outter part from a Non-LSD Axle if you need to and reuse your Inner Cup.

I have a compleate Non-LSD with the ABS Ring kicking around. Let me know if it could be a help to you.

Note: IIRC one of the Non-LSD Axle can be used on an LSD Rear Diff, not sure if it is the Right or Wrong (Left) side.

Ghislain.
