I just wanted to take a quick second and thank a few people who helped me out with my car the last couple of years...

Rob Greer designed a "logo" for me (PPG) that I had planned to incorporate into the car features. The Logo was designed with a speaker grill in mind. Two sets, a couple of 12's in the rear and a couple of 6" in the front. Big props to him for helping me out with this!

Ziggy found me a laser cutter, who cut out the aluminum for me.

20Hz in Etobicoke got it all welded and polished for me.

Alex Banducci from Black Cat customs did me up a new set of gauges with the Logo included (SICK!)

Then there was Pete Tarach who made 3 custom audio commercials for me to play smile

Steve Kinnaird for his constant support/harassment tongue

visit the car at www.scheitzbach.com

here are the pics of the speaker grills and gauges

The stereo isn't that purple vinyl setup anymore. Its now carbon fiber.

I just haven't taken any good pics to upload yet.

probably won't get custom gauge cluster. Just comenting it's nice. What would the motor or lugs have anything to do with the gauge cluster though?

Whoa Mark!

Nice! I know who you are!

I mean I remember who you are!

Baaaaaaaack in the day when I was say, 15yrs of age, I'm now 28, my cousin took me to Cayuga and I remember seeing a sick purple laser with launch control.

Has to be you, no?

If it isn't, oops mistaken identity sorry, but if it is you, then awesomeness.

Car's still alive and looking sweet.

LOL

It's him right Ziggy? I'm right?

I still remember the sound of the car, so nice.

Bwaaaaaahm, buhm, buhm, buhm, buhm, buhm, buhm, buhm, Psheewwww.

Hahaha. I think I have a VHS video of your engine bay at my cousin's place somewhere.

You should remember him.

The lone Korean dude, Scott Kim, with the 93 Teal coloured TSI AWD.

He always ran a 14.4, 14.5, and that same day he got spanked by a yellow civic hatch back with nitrous that ran a 13 flat.

Oh the memories. smile

Peckerhead turbo-back. wink

Just to continue the harassment, I'll fill you in on the background story..

A long time ago (too long!) PPG, Andy and I were at the DSM Shootout. Andy and I were setting up our "site" trackside while PPG was doing some T&T getting ready for racing.

My back was to the track, and I heard a car making a pass. The 1-2 shift was kinda slow, and there was a (seemingly) pause of about a year on the 2-3 shift. I'd been to the track with PPG before. wink Without looking up (or to see what car it was) I said to Andy: "That was PPG, wasn' it?" Andy replied: "Yeah, how did you know?" I burst into laughter and said I could tell by the shifting.

When we got back, I made that little "example" (with emphasized searching for third) to demonstrate what a PPG 1/4 mile run sounded like. It's been (conveniently) haunting him on and off ever since....

In an attempt to stop hijacking the thread: His car has gone through a lot of changes since I first saw it. It looked awesome then, and looks even better now. His car is proof that you're NEVER "done".

Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

In my defense...the Uber gear slammin Josh couldn't shift may car any faster (actually slower) than me. That was before the rebuild tongue

My car had been DONE many times...but it has also be RE-DONE many times.

I've owned this car for 18 years now. Sometimes I just wanna do things "different". I enjoy being "different" (in more than one way laugh )

Ask and you shall recieve.

Too bad we don't have video of it on the track at Hamilton Go-Karts back at the snowed-out peckerhead shootout of '06. THAT was a blast.
