I love this loser quote: "Someone PLEASE go faster than my 141. Seriously....Take it!!! Im not kidding" That's all thats left of Fartpower. Stuck on a MEANINGLESS 141 mph trophy when a handful of guys are BLOWING them out of the water with REAL timeslips, Your right Kev, when these guys came into the scene and started painting everything BLUE and called it Fartpower, they were stuck on ET, ET, ET, ET, ET.

Bah, season's over boys. Lets see what they run next year. Better be a low 10 or a high 9 otherwise we'll have quite the handful of guys running faster... ....on less.

You would have to know the weight of both cars, Todd - 2950lbs, 550whp and 139mph(lifting on shifts) Other- 3000lbs, 800whp and 141mph Still doesn't add up to me! Tim is exactly right tho, no 2 dynos will produce the same numbers, and more importantly a dyno can be skewed to produce higher readings. Ron, for reference do you have any dyno numbers? Curious to see how much power it takes you to trap 155mph in a heavy 2G And once again, 1/4 mile racing is all about ETs, not MPH!

[quote=Ron Korolak]And once again, 1/4 mile racing is all about ETs, not MPH! Yes and might I add reaction time counts too. That is what it is all about. Ask Wryan; He still has the slip where I did a faster ET and mph but slepth at the line. He cleanned my clock to a clean win. 1st one at the other end winz. As per the Giz rule. Ghislain

My highest trap this year was 159 which shoud put me around 1000hp on a dynojet based on a friend with a lighter car that make 1060 on a dyno jet and trapped 160-164ish?

On my 700whp tune the car went 141Mph on around 860ish it went 151Mph. Are those weights with or with out driver? You have to also look alot of people that don't have a well sorted out combo have a very peaky power curve so two 700Hp cars one with a nice broad power curve is going to destroy a 700hp car with a peaky power curve.

On the TSC forums board, (before I was booted) I read about a guy bringing his car to Neetronics to be dyno'd, and on the way home it exploded. They gave some excuses like "it had been running way too rich for way too long, washed out all the lubrication..it was so bad we couldn't even finish the first pull". What I found funny is that they claimed that at this point it was obvious the engine life could be limited, yet they didn't ASK the car owner if he wanted to continue. That, and the fact that the TSC Gestapo works out of there, I would NEVER bring a car to Neetronics.
