I'm loving having the car on the road, I started driving it Monday, and I won't be looking back. Even if we get some freak dump of snow I will still be out! New clutch, fixed downpipe, and slightly upgraded methanol setup for me, along with speed density - should be a good summer

The ricers haven't really started to come out where I live yet, but in this area it's mostly yahoo's with big muddin trucks and pimped out tractors. I sort of stand out... lol.
Ryan L and I have been plugging away diligently at my DSM getting her ready to pass safety, while at the same time fixing all kinds of strange problems. Mr. Dekking, I know you bought the car this way; you're right, you had absolutely no idea what you go yourself into. lol. We've been rewiring the entire interior, there was a lot of weird sh!t going on in there.
Left to install for me, new FMIC pipes, AEM 50 psi digital boost guage, new AEM wideband sensor. Otherwise, it's just a matter of cleaning the engine bay to make her feel pretty again.

I'm already DD'ing my car and have been for about 3 weeks now. I've finally got my ignition breakup issue solved, so I can at least dial in a tune, which I'm getting close to nailing.
Then Speed Density.
I have a bunch of wiring left to do, a lot of things (albeit done right) are done temporarily until I can find the time to get it done. I have mucho plans this year in the wiring department, including a race harness (I've got a full 2G AWD Auto engine harness stripped in a box) with Mil-Spec connectors.
Still have the Evo 3 Intake to install, Evo Beehive springs/retainers to install, my CAI....
Ugh, I thought I already did my spring build....
Upgrades were decent this year including a dumped 38mm off the O2, bigger FMIC, more meth (Dual M7), Alternator relocation.

Alex, can you send me a log of your car to milcan21@hotmail.com? I'm going to try the EVO8 GSR Ralliart fuel maps over the next day or two, see how well it likes meth and what I have to tweak.

I have one for stock fuel maps but not yet for EVO. I will do one tonight and email to you! Final fuel settings are -47.7(850cc), Deadtime 330, FPR 44psi. Trims are now near zero and WOT finally make sense.

well our car don't make much power until they switch off from open loop. True, but on a 6000 rpm launch with no lift to shift, open loop is nowhere to be found

6k launches?? Wow You must go through axles like crazy Nope, never broken one (knock on wood)...I find that any RPM level below 5750, with the size turbo I am running, causes the car to bog out on the launch. 5750 and higher and it hooks really good The only transmission upgrade I have is a 4-spider center diff from Jacks. I'd say I did about 50-75 launches like this last year, with no problems (other than my clutch slipping last time out to the track)

Not to get off topic, but I couldn't help but notice that box of Brava, "The beer of Summer". ...sooooooo, how is it? Tasty? Never tried it.

I will give it a go if it's still cheap. I never liked Coronas before, but they're starting to grow on me. NO LIME though. Regularly I drink Canadian, and Keith's. Japanese engine bays aren't the only thing that's "tight" over there.
