Guil. Keep it clean. I just neglected the car too much. Im glad someone on the board picked it up. To be fair Kent I told you I could store it for you for awhile.
You can be assured of that I have some rare goodies coming on it soon. As of right now, she's getting more pampering than the 2g. So I take it you got the new bike? Hope she treats you well, she looked great in the pics you showed me, I'm sure she's even better in real life!

Bikes are fun, I've owned a couple. But, boost is totally different, but eventually you'll miss it.
What did you pick up?

Turns out my FMIC wasn't my only problem last week on the dyno day, I fixed it and it was still getting a misfire and knock anytime in boost. Compression test showed 120-150-120-130, also started blowing oil out all around the valve cover and the dipstick. So today I yanked it out, will drop in my spare block tomorrow. Woah, you took action on that like a pro! Nice.

I work on the computer all day at work so when I get home, my relaxing time is working on the dsm. I come home, eat, watch a couple youtube subscriptions, spend some time with the wife then head out to the garage.
FWIW, I changed my flywheel in 4ish hours, and swapped it to AWD in 2 weeks more or less.

And Tools lol I am in the same boat as Michael... I hope one day I can just drop the engine over the weekend. When I changed the lower control arm it took me I'd say about 6 hours... because I didn't have the proper tool to remove the ball joint. And when I installed the hi flow cat it took 8 hours over two days, 4 each day. Simply because I had to deal with the rusted bolts and I can only get the car so high off the ground. And just my luck it rained on the 2nd day so I was dripping wet on the floor and I got a cold If it were up to me I would do everything on my own and immediately, unfortunately I don't have the resources right now

I can drop a trans all by myself in about 2 hours if not less without cutting corners, from having the car running to tranny on the floor. Once you do it so much it becomes super easy.
One thing I've found with 2g's, because of the mounts being on the tranny instead of the motor, it's just as fast to remove the whole thing on one piece. I'm down to about 2 1/2 hours to have it hanging by 2 bolts, and it's only a matter of minutes to lift it out with the overhead crane I installed this summer
