Yesterday, I plowed my laneway, and decided to snap a couple pics of the Eclipse while it was warming up for it's semi monthly start up and idle. I know it looks like there's snow in the garage, that's just my boots tracking it in. tongue

When we had our major snow falls (yes, that's plural)..this is what I had to deal with. And the MDX got stuck at the end of the laneway frown

At work, we've been digging out cars daily. 1 row at a time. Allowing for the plow to it's job (questionable skills but done none the less)..

This isn't me, one of my co-workers..to give you an idea of how much snow we have.

Our winter is actually pretty good.

We had just a few meaningfull snow falls; one was prety much 6" and a few less than an inch. Weather has been pretty much between -1 and +3 DegC (daytime) over the last week or so. I can see grass in a few areas of my lawn. At present time; my driveway is also deprived of the white stuff!!!

All in all that is pretty much what I can stomach for snow or cold weather; did I say that I hate winter... Living in a tropical climate would be just fine for me.

Anti-SnowManGiz!!!

I'm assuming the crown was unable to sell their story. Probably due to the fact that it states clearly that the diagram is for all models "but" the turbo! It's all in the details in court

Hey Wade, it looks like you're having a hell of a time you lucky dog!! I wish I was somewhere tropical over the holidays. frown

It's pretty rare seeing an R34 sedan around these parts but they were also EVERYWHERE when I was in New Zealand a few years back for 1 month. And the odd V-Spec drool

Funny thing you post that picture of the 20" chrome wheels. They are the EXACT same as a 4G Eclipse around Ottawa. I'll see if I can find a pic of it.

How fast are those Ski-Doo's?

Couldn't find a better picture, but this thing hauled ass. Had it up to 196 and decided "alright... that's enough...." I'm too poor for a sled of my own, but this was my bro's. I guess there isn't much else to do up in Petawawa during the winter months.

My initial winter period was occupied by me doing almost nothing because I had to let my MCL in both knees heal (Hockey injury I got just before Christmas, tore them while stopping the breakaway and taking the guy head-on because he apparently really wanted that goal....Made the save though ;P).

Hehe tongue Huge tires though! Funny enough I'm actually working one of those really expensive 1g 1/16 models to look like a Plymouth Laser since I have one now. laugh It'll be the only one of it's kind (with no spoiler as well).

I have a lot more, though most of them are more scenic ones that my wife took from the Jeep as I would pull over every now and then to get out to enjoy the views on the East coast. We started at the Northern tip of the Island and worked our way along the East coast on broken bumpy dirt roads, through pools of water that accumulated from rainfall, and climbing up and down some ragged rocky turns and slopes, until we got to the most Southern point of the Island, called Baby Beach. It was pretty much a slow bumpy crawl through the East coast for about 4-5 hours which only a 4x4 can handle. It wasn't too dangerous, you just have to take it easy as some rocks can be sharp and you don't want them penetrating the Jeeps tires. We pretty much lapped the island in 6 hours. I'll post up some more scenic photos later smile

Nope. 196Kph. If that doesn't tighten up your balloon knot a bit, nothing will.
Stand by, looking for the video. Good thing the camera has GPS wink

There, use that.

There wasn't any change in elevation or hump or bump for about 3 miles. Solid hard packed snow. So fun. laugh

That's crazy! I have done that many times on a bike, but that is paved roads. Snow doesn't sound as flat.

I've had snowmobiles up in the 170-180 range before. It's a blast to say the least but yah, when you're at that speed you realize just how screwed you'd be if even the slightest thing went wrong, especially given that I've typically done this on frozen lakes where the ice is nice and thick...perfect for breaking a fall!

The craziest part is letting off the throttle and the snowmobile slowing down so fast you feel like you're going to get launched forward off it (especially if there are any bumps). Pretty much never need to actually use the brakes on one.
