I honestly think it can, but for a long trip..probably not.

I've pulled a CSX out of a snow bank with a tow strap, and it was STUPID easy without any fuss from the MDX.

I know it's not much of a comparison to hauling a trailer and my eclipse but frack me, I don't want rent a truck AND trailer for the S/O. Nor do I want to drive the DSM down there either.
