Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I'm absolutely sick over this.
I was at the Cineplex theater in Niagara Falls. Stay away, or drive your beater. The manager at the theater said that I'm lucky my car is still there, a lot of vehicles get stolen there.
I'm pissed off because now my insurance is likely going to go up. This isn't going to be a cheap claim at all. Upon further inspection, there is a lot of miscellaneous damage;
-They pried against the dash trying to pull the deck out, so the dash is all chewed up. -They pulled the deck out so hard that it snapped the factory tabs, so mounting a new deck is going to be nearly impossible. -They factory harness is ruined.
The police are suppose to call me today, and my insurance company is going to send an adjuster tomorrow to estimate the damage.

Yeah. If they know things happen there, why not do something about it?? I hope things go okay with the claim and all .

If they know it happens a lot, why doesn't an unmarked cruiser pass once in a while in that area? You'd think cops in the region would be up for some easy bookings. Private property..Cineplex would have to request it. But the cops are probably too busy chasing down kids with loud cars going 5KM/H over the limit anyway. I can't believe someone would do this to you, Jay. They should be charged with defacing a piece of artwork! I hope I never find someone doing something like this to my Talon. I don't think jail would suit me.

Gui, I met a guy who was from out east and he would tell me story about how they would always leave their doors unlocked, because if you are caught stealing they would cut your hands off.

Just sickening how some people think they can just take what they want instead of earning it, ugh. I just don't know how these type of people can not have any sort of remorse for things like this.
I hope you get it sorted out and somehow, the person(s) involved get what's coming to them.
I guess worst case scenario, you could do the deck relocation, get the triple gauge pod that goes in the stock location and drops the deck down below where it is less visible.

Carproof reports count break'ins as damage, hurting the overall value.
So if you decide to not go through insurance, you'll likely end up saving money in the long run.

All the deterrent's possible outside of flame throwers under the car and electrified door handles..I have on my car So yeah, pager alarms are great. Funny thing is, all you really need is a led flashing in your car that's visible when your alarm system is armed and that's usually enough to turn thieves away.

Johnny, that's the exact link I just posted! Hahah. I would have bought it but the title says that it's the front glass, but in the description it says it's the rear. I'm waiting to hear back for the seller. Lucian, it's a good idea, but I'm 99% sure the glass is different

I'll definitely keep an eye out for the Kenwood DDX770 double din screen. Kijiji/ebay but chances are he'll sell it on some forum to keep it on the DL. So if you're part of Honda forums, I'd check those too.
Then again, there are quite a number of pawn shops around Niagara too.

I've seen several Evo's with CF trunks and I've yet to seen one fit 100% correctly, that's a big turnoff in my book.
Hood looks good though. From a weight savings standpoint though, I've heard the Evo's stock aluminum hood is 2 pounds lighter than the Seibon CF hood, I'm sure each brand varies a little but either way, it's not really much of an upgrade in that aspect.

Do what I am doing run a wingless cf one, and a painted one with a wing! Doesnt hurt to have enough spare parts to change my car's body panels like I change my shoes! I personally loved it the way it was at the cruise! When you miss the wing throw the stock trunk back on!! We ll need to photo shoot our cf ed cars together when mine is ready!! Im going to fix and vent my damaged CF VIS hood, paint it and hood pin it for track use. keep my OEM CF hood. Going to repair and paint my worst stock windowed hatch, install the turbo wing and hatch pins. Then I can swap to my CF/lip spoiler/FAL hatch, and I have yet another CF hatch that will need a FAL window and maybe a high downforce wing (yet to be determined). Doors and sunroof next, Then CF fever is cured.

^ That's a bit too much cf I'd say ditch some extra and get cf fenders, if you can find them. More weight savings, less parts to store. As for the main question, keep the cf parts, paint them if you wish even. You have them, why not keep them (unless you don't want them and you found a buyer for them). Personally I'd get a spoiler for it. Always loved the spoiler on the evo (obviously, installed on the evo only )

Jay, keep them as is. They're nice the way they are. BUT, I would recommend re-clearing them. It will save the GEL coat from UV rays.

I love the hood, and now that I've painted the vent grille matte black, it looks A LOT better.
The trunk, different story. It looks cool and it's well built, but like Jason mentioned, they fit like garbage! I made every adjustment possible to try and get it flush, including sitting in my trunk space with the lid closed adjusting the striker!
I think that's the only issue I have with it. The spoilerless look is growing on me, and I'm slowly getting around to fixing the clear coat on my factory spoiler.
I'm also considering sanding the paint off the sides of the spoiler to expose the carbon. That's another option.
Thanks for the opinions fellas!
