Since I was driving as a teen, I always put my side mirrors facing away from the car as much as possible. When doing so, there is no blind spot. Your rear view is for looking behind you. Why people set up their side mirrors to see behind them as well is beyond me. My side mirrors show me whats beside me, and nothing else

With that being said, Im curious about these mirrors you speak of. Its a side view or a rear view?
