Not a bad deal at all. Just ordered a set for myself.

Let us know what shipping and broker fees are once you get them.

Damn, $100?

I had wanted these originally before I got my AVID Race Mounts (90 Duro) but they were just way too pricey.

They're 75 duro which is nice and you can buy something like 5 or 6 different colours of inserts if you want, so you don't have to go with green.

Edit: Green (stock), Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Black, Grey are available, but cost extra for anything other than green.

Will do. I haven't been charged for shipping yet and am waiting for them to charge me.

Stephen, you can avoid brokerage by self clearing, but it will take a couple days longer for the package to arrive then. And you need a CBSA office somewhat near you that can provide the service.

I'd love something other than green, but depends how much extra they want.

Looks like 35.63$ in shipping per the UPS calculator they have.....Hate that it's only UPS though. I HATE them.

Oh I didn't know that Stephan. The only and last time i ever got something shipped UPS from the states it cost me double in broker fees the the stuff was worth. And most times things are cheaper for me just to buy here ie. The tire rack. My cost is actually less then their's

I self cleared the exhaust when it arrived, because they wanted $120 for me to accept it. I declined, told them I wanted to self clear, went to the customs guys, paid $46 and then UPS delivered it the following day.

Don't want to intrude on this thread, but RTM ordered about 10 sets of these last week. We expect to have them soon.

We got NO discount on these, so we are going to have to mark them up some, but they should still be a good deal!!

What price will they be marked at? I don't mind green if it's cheaper.

Pretty sure you can only get them in green and that the other colours are extra $ that you buy separately. At least that was the case when I last looked into them.

Just got an email from them telling me that they are all sold out and that I wasn't charged (even though I was).

Ziggy, how much are you going to be asking for the mounts?

Paint over the green with plasti-dip, it's flexible and won't come off.

I am still not sure anything is coming. I got an email questioning my order (I guess because of 10 sets), so I confirmed, but no word since...no tracking info, nothing

Thing is, right now with the dollar doing so poorly, it would come out to about $180 Canadian after taxes.

Looks like $149.97 + shipping + tax, so it is around the $180.00 mark at your door. They are still $50. below the Avid tuner series mounts, and I THINK they are better quality.

...I'm rockin' the Avid tuner series mounts from RTM and I've got no complaints. Why does no one like them??

There have been many failures with the Tuner Series mounts. Avid claims it was a bad batch of urethane. Basically the urethane in the mounts disintegrate almost immediately upon use.

The issue comes from the fact that Avid dragged their ass on agreeing to replace my mounts, and then dragged their ass again on actually sending out the replacements. Apparently this happened to everybody who experienced the early failures, even though Avid admitted it was their fault.

If you've been using the mounts for a while and they haven't disintegrated, you're likely fine.

I bought them new from RTM and since I put them in I have only put around 400km on the car. I will be pulling the engine out in the summer sometime as I'm building another one for it. There will be around 2-3k by then and I'll have a look at them.

Both my front and rear roll stop were completely shot by the time I pulled them with a bit over 4k on them, but based on when the symptoms showed up I'd say one probably went as early as 2500km, with the other following shortly behind.

New OEM engine mounts on my DSM all around, except the front one which is a solid welded one (only place it is actually required IMO, since the engine lifts on this mount).

I hate street cars with solid engine mounts all around, expecilally when it is not needed.
