I have rims that need a lot of TLC, curb rash, etc..
I am considering painting vs powder coating.
I've read that it is not recommended to powder coat rims unless the baking temperature does not exceed 350 degrees, for no longer than 15-20 minutes. The reason being is that at higher temperature aluminum softens up associated with obvious safety concerns.

In addition, is the hyper silver colour option.
Which option would you recommend?
