I'm planning a trip down there on July 12th. Maybe we can setup another one of those luncheon/parts swap/meat meets..?

I would take probably 5 lbs or more back with me. And finally save on shipping.

We would need to have the order out early next week to make that happen, I am not sure if the individuals on this board are that organized

Anyone know the nutritional stats for this snack?
Particularly, how much sugar is added. This would be a nice late night snack, full of protein I assume, but what else, what kind of preservatives/additives are used?

No, he has the ingredients on each bag.
As someone who considers them selves a health nut I can assure you this is a good option. As you said full of protein and not very much salt. I am pretty sure I haven't seen sugar on any of the bags because if I did I would be much more hesitant to order. I think he just uses honey for the honey garlic one.

He uses loads of curing salt which has a lot of sodium. That's really the only "natural" preservative.

Get your order in asap, I'm pretty sure Bryan already sent off the list.

I spoke with him and he doesn't use that much salt. He says it's probably around 2 or 3%

Some of the flavors use minimal amounts of sugar. Smokey Teriyaki is the only one I can think of off hand though.

Yes and no. We were a little late so when mike added that last 5 pound it pushed the deliver from friday night to saturday morning so I don't think he can handle any more and get it done for saturday, unless it's only like 1 pound.

They're taking a long time to grow. Approximately 200 day growing cycle. I'm at about 140 days. And given the weather, and my slow timing to plant them, I'll likely have to finish growing them indoors.. Using our solarium.
