Where did you get that!?
I've been looking for a 2g dsm rc car for ages now but can't seem to find one. The only ones I ever found were the bastardized post-dsm eclipse ones.

its only the body of the car that is a 2g eclipse.. meaning u can put that eclipse body on any 1/10th scare r.c car (gas or electric) So if u dont wanna spend a fortune on a insane r/c u can buy a cheaper one and then buy the eclipse body 29.99 and u can paint it urself. www.hpiracing.com is where u can find it!

Dan, I have the same body, but I haven't painted it yet. I'm running an HPI RS4SS, 2 speed. Over 1hp in stock form, close to 100kph top speed. I have an aftermarket pipe and filter on mine, which gives it a bit more pep. Everytime you crash these things you part with $100. It's great to see you got yours all painted up, it gives me some inspiration.

WARNING : don't ever get into this hobby, cost too much $ to be competitive. But it was a great speed fix when I didn't have my lisence. For those west-end GTA guys, if your interested in RC cars, you should check out FastCats out in Oakville. If you go there and see how fast and how well they handle you'll be hooked. The hobby did teach me all about chassis dynamics, to be fast its all about set-up

100kph! That's crazy. I know with those Nitro's you get some wicked speed. The 2 speed systems are cool too when they shift. With the set up I have right now, it's almost "too fast" in that the sticky tires can barely keep it on track.....and that's only a 15 turn motor. I'd love to see what a 6 turn would do. You get some pretty cool tire squeeling with it though when you do some hard turns and 180's
I want an RS4.

pfft, that old-school,non-efficient, shaft-driven car (j/k), you should see my belt driven Xray with a 9x2 Hahahaha, a 9 turn double? that would kick some heavy ass, that's for sure. I started out with an RS4 Rally with a 17x1, but then my co worker stomped me with his TC3. I liked the set up, so I ended up picking one up on ebay, and modding it out. Now the RS4 is the off roader, and the TC3 is the street racer. Next up, a sweet brushless motor set up

Someone had one of those at a meet once: See May, 2000. It was cool then and it's still cool now, I'm jealous.

So I raced my coworker today, and not only was it a tie (which totally sucked, given the speed of my motor) but I put the car into a curb at full speed.
DSM jr suffered quite the curb-rash hole punched right through the front intercooler decal and body, a bent drive shaft, a cracked lower a-arm, and a bent swing arm pin.
Damn. This thing is just like the real one.....as it is down until I get some parts. Stupid hobby.
I want an RS4.
