Ben Kalinowski OP Boo-TED Regular Member Joined: May 2007 Posts: 106 ontario	Hi. I have a 1993 laser awd turbo. I recently bought a walbro 255 high pressure pump and install kit. I went to take the sending unit out and i notices that the little nuts were very very rusty. some oil and somw car i got 1/2 off ok...the other half broke right off. im screwed right now. i did the install and put it all back together but i only have 1/2 the nuts holding it down. when i floor it gas spills out and it reaks baddd. HOW ON THE EARTH CAN I FIX IT? does anyone have an idea? thanxs cheaper the better!

Somehow he had a brand new FWD fuel pump bracket.. and he's got plenty of used stuff in good shape. I thought I had it bad with FWD cause I had to vise grip all the bolts holding my bracket and they were rusted more than anything I've seen.. Ran a gasket with a thick bead of Gasket Maker (Special stuff that doesnt get eaten by gas- IMPORTANT) It was of little issue after that. Only instance would be sharp turns when tank was filled to the brim. But we all know DSMs rarely see full tanks anyways AMIRITE???
